Having the Featured Game Mode always available on PBE is ruining the ability to properly test things

Recently I discovered a bug with Fiddlestick where I believe fire dragon's buff was disabling his healing on epic monsters. I tested it in two games before stopping for the night. Now, with One for All live, queues for normal games are exceeding 20 minutes for me which is completely unreasonable. As long as the featured game mode is live on PBE we won't be able to get a good grasp of bugs and balance changes before they go to live, completely defeating the purpose of the system. I'm sorry to those who like to play the featured game modes on PBE at all times but it's hurting us as a whole. Although there is good reason to want to test these game modes, they are completely pushing out the ability to test anything else. I honestly want to help test and balance the mage update and find and test bugs, but in the current predicament there is no way I can double my time investment per game.

This is mostly copy and pasted from my post on the reddit in hopes that it will gain some visibility. Thanks for reading.

I mean, it should stop once they run out of new modes. Ascension shouldn't need more bug testing when it returns, for example.

True, but even for the time being, and for when they introduce more game modes in the future, this issue will reoccur.

I coulda sworn that someone said they won't be making new modes. But ultimately, the PBE is an environment of limited size: if the amount of content that needs to be bugfixed is temporarily increased, you're gonna get less thorough tests. It's just a reality of a public beta system.
