Dark Star Thresh + Banshee's

I noticed while playing against dark star thresh that his W shield looks a lot like a banshee's veil, and it is hard to tell when he has banshee's or when someone who gets the shield has banshee's

Now, I know it is not impossible to tell when Banshee's is up, but some clarity would be appreciated
