Solution to Smurfs

If you like my idea, please rate. Thanks

Let's start by addressing the issue 1/4 Reasons a higher elo d00d would want to smurf:

  1. Play with a friend new to the game whilst allowing the learning curve to not be as punishing
  2. Practice climbing up to_ improve your skills_ MonkeyKing
  3. Carry a friend out of bronze/silver/gold/plat
  4. Stomp some kiddos/ lower stress games

On one of the other discussions I brushed on how you could have linked accounts. You would just tab in and out and level up an account if you really wanted to for -> (read below). Now I don't really know how Riot would implement all of this, but I'm just shooting fire, hoping that someone can harness it.

Hear me out on this. Create a battle tower (Pokemon reference). You know how custom games have it where bronzies can play with a full plat team? Well, make this into a whole separate queue with perks given to those that play. Unique perks; I mean border, icon, skin, etc/ whatever Riot decides.

It would be great because the lower ranks can learn, the higher ranks can stomp/have fun/practice, and everyone gets experience from it. So many times I'm playing with my IRL Plat friends and we go on a lose streak and want to stomp some scrubs. We would love to queue against some high silvers/low gold just to stomp em without having to search the custom game list. And at the end of the match the woodies ask for tips, we give it to them.

Someone please add to this idea. If it's trash, just say so. Idgaf either way; I'm just tired of having to climb back to my rank every season just to be stomped by plats until they move up in ranks. I'm 19 and work 50 hours a week. I don't have time to climb every season. I want to get better at the game by playing against golds/ #ClimbOrDie

I would actually love to be matched against better players all the time to be honest. It would prove a constant challenge and would force you to improve.

There should also be a special chat box either during the game or after the game where higher elo players get to give tips and constructive criticism. (where any toxic behavior wouldnt be tolerated)

Upvoted and i hope that RIOT sees this.

You hit at two issues and tried to link them together under one solution. You only solved one problem with your idea though.

  1. Practice

Maybe you could make a new matchmade system "David vs Goliath" where you could set your preferences to be matched against higher or lower skilled opponents. This way you could get games of bronze vs silvers or silvers vs plats (#subwars). The higher skill players could practice things and the lower skilled players could learn. I like this concept.

  1. smurfs

The whole reason to smurf is to boost. Let's be honest. You trick the matchmade system into thinking a diamond player is silver to get an unfair advantage. This david and goliath matchmaking system does not deter players from taking smurfs into dynamic queue to level up their friends.

So i like the battle tower idea but it doesn't solve the smurf problem

i dont think it would completely solve the smurf problem but maybe lessen it a bit the new queue would lure some of those players who just get a thrill out of beating lower elo players.

Solute to Diamon V trash smurfs that cannot go any higher than D5 and start smurfing and add lower elo players to tell them how bad they are and thread them to post shit posts on reddit about them like lower elo gives a fuck about them. You are having a bad game and some random piece of shit D5 player added to to make your day worst

This is a good idea so people across all the elos can see the full scale differences between each others teams and everyone learns as well.

Everyone should play with his own level. U won't improve if you're playing against better players, u will improve when u start shiting at your own elo. And that takes time, watching streams, reading guides and playing. It takes time but it's worth if u don't have anything else to do with your life. Also don't pay for coaching because u can learn all the staff from YT and streams.

I know an easy way to fix boosting. Require a champion to be level 5 mastery or higher to queue into ranked. That way, the boosters can't use their preferred mains and can't boost as easily.

IE if the guy buying a boost is a Karma main but the booster prefers.... anyone but Karma, it'll be harder to rank for them than if they have access to whoever. Stricter, yes, but I think it would help things.
