Should rakan be built AP or Tanky?

Wanna know what you guys think of for a build on this guy. Because theres a lot of options. Personally im thinking -> -> -> -> ->.

I'd recommend a little bit of both. His scaling for AP isn't terrific, but it's decent enough to warrant at least a small investment if you so desire. As his deal is to kind of get in and get out, being tanky isn't a bad option, as it'll prevent him from getting bursted on his way in, and safe on his way out.

Damage wise? You have a point. Though he has the same damage scalings as Sona(though her q-passive combo has a 78% ap scaling), Lulu, Nami, Taric(his e), and all these champs hit like a truck when built ap(my sister's ap taric is to be feared).

Utility wise? He has the highest Ap scaling of all healing skills( 70% for his q), tied with two others( LeeSin and Ivern ) for highest non-ultimate shield scaling(80% on his e), and a 90% ap scaling on his passive shield. He has a higher scaling on his shields than most champs have on their damage skills, and a similar scaling for his heal.

Out of all the non-damage supports, he is the only one with scalings high enough to support a ap heavy build, as opposed to the typical enchanter one. Tanky is a must, but don't sell his (utility) scalings short.

I'd like to see what they're going to do with Ancient Coin first, but I'd probably use that instead. After that, boots, Ardent Censor, Locket, and either Knight's Vow or Zeke's (provided it stops being garbo).
