It's poor game design to reward players with a rift herald summon and take away the ability to grant their team vision. Just grant players with a rift herald icon that they can click if you don't want to put in the work of creating new UI elements.

LilxPaprika5 votesmaybe it should be press 4 and hold to activate it. hold for like 1.5 sec and lower channeling duration by that much? maybe it starts to channel at 0.7 seconds and you can cancel until 1.5

But a lot of the time that isn't exactly an option, and even as a support you can misclick it just trying to trinket from muscle memory
