Someone I played with often got permabanned and I really liked his name and he said I could have it, but apparently even if an account is permabanned, its still in active account. Is there something that can be done?

Athina1 votesI'm suspecting a line of thinking like: "Why should a player be able to have their previous username if they make a new account?" Players can get fairly sentimental about their usernames, so I suppose it can make sense to deny them having it back because that's part of the punishment.
That, or they thought it wasn't worth modifying a username's availability in situations like these. Who knows.

zPOOPz1 votesRito USED TO do mass name change/sweep to inactive accounts (they changed them to some string of characters like wef232615321gass and gave the inactive accounts a free name change from that) so other people can grab the inactive names. The last time I remember they did this was back in season 4 or 5. I wonder why they don't do this anymore...
