Shaco's rework Ideas(poll)

Have always been a fan of classic shaco mechanics and would personally like it to stay that way. I would love for my little Jester to get a buff to his kit. First to compensate for increased damage by giving him a new passive!

Current passive allows shaco to deal 20% more damage when attacking from the back. Currently don't have a perfect idea but would love to see a poll to see the general need.

The way shaco is currently designed puts him in an awkward class. He benefits a lot more from ability power yet his kit is mostly played as AD, kind of like pre-reworked sion. Trying to compare him to similar champions I wanted to design his kit to be unique for the class. I think with his current kit he compares with champions like Teemo and heimer for their turret and shroom. I feel like shaco would be perfect fit for AD version of similar class while still having jungle potential. Don't have math worked out, that would be for riot to work out.

(Q)Keep deceive! This is shaco's classic move. It functions perfect! Minor tweaks could be implemented but I don't think it's important.

(W)Jack-in-box. Shaco places Jack- In- box that becomes stealthed after X seconds and reveals stealthed champions in small area.

Active: detonates boxes that are in range to deal PHYSICAL damage in small area and fear for x seconds.

(E) Shiv. Throws a shiv at target dealing PHYSICAL damage. Using this ability while stealthed aka Decieve(Q), shiv will critically strike(applies on-hit)220% like Decieve. Just to further explain, this critical strike can be applied by one ability. Q or E not both.

(R) un-changed, minor tweaks.

Shaco is fine, all we need is for his effects to appear on both him and the clone, so its actually a guessing game to know which is the real shaco

I like shaco's current passive.. The problem with shaco isn't that hes a bad champion or badly designed, its that he simply does not fit into the current meta. Most assassins have a way of either getting in and out while taking someone out, or the ability to survive a few hits after delivering their damage. Shaco is unique in that he can get in OR out but cannot do both. He's resigned to either split pushing (which he is one of the best, if not THE best split pusher in game) or picking off carries a few seconds after the fighting starts.

The biggest design issue with Shaco is his clone. It's FAR too easy to determine who the real shaco is. The clone needs to be COMPLETELY identical to shaco, even if this means redesigning the ult to be something like..

"Shaco deceives the enemy and creates a clone. While clone is active Shaco and his Clone both deal 75% of Shaco's damage. The clone will mimic Shaco completely, even using his abilities and appear to have his buffs." In addition to this, his "death message" wont occur until either the clone expires or is killed, even when Shaco is killed first.

Shaco is perfectly fine as he is, he is usually built AD because the whole free crits thing synergizes with IE+Shiv, he has mixed damage which makes him overwhelming during early and midgame but renders him weak towards the endgame (like it should be), if he had AD ratios he would be the single most broken champion in the league.

It should never be OK that a champion becomes practically useless at any point of the game. Especially in a game that's so heavily against snowballing and so for comebacks.. So no.. It's not OK that shaco has "overwhelming" (debateable) early game and almost no late game.

I definitely never said there was anything wrong with him. I wouldn't say he don't fit the meta because I know how good he is, and certainly fits the meta just fine. But give him a game with ability power and soon enough you'll know that his jack-in-boxes were not designed to be used against champions if your primary focus is ability power. With AD it's absolutely not a problem. You have to remember that champions strength is in the numbers and there is no way to say 100% that it would be OP because that term is very much abused. Numbers can be adjusted to work with entire kit. This idea is based on CONCEPT not the numbers.

Please don't change my shaco :( He's carried me from silver to plat and he is so good the place he is currently ;(

If he gets a buff, everyone will start banning/picking him.

So please don't change him.
