I wish Riot kept new players away from ranked

In bronze there is obviously a huge amount of people that actually understand the game, most importantly understand what ranked is for. For me ranked is about climbing the rank and learning more about the TEAM side of the game. If you play ranked to get better at some role or champion, you should not be able to play ranked. I feel like riot should put more restrictions for ranked play, level 30 isn't enough to qualify someone as a good team player, keep new people in separate games. riot should implement a system that can gather information about a player from normal games, amount of runes they got, and several other information that can sort people with the right teams MORE OFTEN. Losing games is normal, and I don't usually care if I lose games because the other team was just better at team fights or just have better set of champions, It does bother me that this game is so driven on ranked play, yet the ranking system is a disaster. You cant carry all games, and that's fact, the reason you can't carry this game is because many people that are bronze are not actually at bronze level of play, but much higher. Accounts like that should be sorted to play with other bronze "smurf" accounts or whatever, its really not that hard to tell if a new level 30 account has had way more xp and simply find other smurf accounts to group with, while a solo player is stuck with randomly generated bronze level players. I cant wait till season 7. I cant wait till its only solo/duo. That should help a lot.

They do have a way to sort out below average players in the ranked system. It's called Bronze. Average is anywhere from high bronze (upper B2-B1) to low silver (S5-S4). If you play at below average levels, the system will sort you out into bronze. And if you play at average or above average levels, the system will get you sorted out accordingly.

level 30 is just player experience before playing ranked games .. i think its not enough instead some other natch to qualify for ranked games

Smite follows this rule. Not only do you need to be level 30 to engage in ranked, but you need a level 1 mastery in at least 20 gods. A mastery in smite is basically 5 wins with them. And then only gods that you have a mastery level in are able to be played.

However the issue is that it's impossible to accurately filter "new" players. In the end, people with 2000 games can still have really bad games, and people with 20 normal games can absolutely stomp.

Arguably thats what ranks are for. To determine accurately the skill ratings of players.

So if a new player gets placed in bronze, isnt that where he belongs? If you just started playing league I would expect you to be bronze. Over time as you improve you'll become silver, gold etc.

But for brand new lvl 30 players? Bronze is the perfect division for them. They get to have fun with other newbs of their skill. They are not expected to know optimal builds, and they'll play fun / wacky champs that are low on the tier list. And thats all good!

Personally I think you should be able to play ranked anytime you want. Especially after spending months becoming lvl 30.

Edit: Sorry if you've played a long time and are still in bronze. Is there any reason you havnt improved after playing for so long?

Uh, bronze is the place for people who don't know the game though. Especially Bronze 4 + 5. I don't get the post. If you're in bronze, you're in the part of the ranked system where you are learning the game. Once you learn important aspects of the game, you naturally start to win more and climb out. If you're not, then you probably don't get the game. That's the purpose of bronze. Put the players don't know what is going on in bronze, and as they learn, they escape.

Executing a champion has little to do with the game overall especially if it is not a highly complex one.

I've made this argument before and was down voted to hellish levels.

My suggestion is after level 30, you can only play champions in ranked that are level 5 or higher. It's the only way to guarantee that a player has at least 25 games per champion under their belt, and a fairly good idea how to play them.
