How will Riot manage the learning curve for new players?

With each new patch, it's like we have a new game entirely. New champions, runes, items, in addition to the hundreds that are already in the game.

League has been deliberately put in a state of "change for the sake of change." I have played for 7+ years and can tell you that the changes we see every patch were not designed to make the game reach a "final perfect state." The changes are meant to keep the players involved in the game.

I got in at a time where playing 1-2 hours a day was enough to grasp the entire game at a Gold-ish level in 6 months. Now we have x1.5 the champions and many more items and mechanics. Newer champion abilities have become too complex to understand without reading the champion's wiki.

From a game development perspective, how does Riot aim to make the learning curve manageable for new players?

There are no new player, they just try to hold old by making game more and more fast, dashy, unpredictable etc, so that people get new challenges.
