Reduce opacity of HP bar

Reduce the opacity of the HP bar with about 20%, sometimes is annoy because you can't see some things, you have to make a few moves, you can even lose some minions when you farm because you are a melle champ and you are to close of them and you can't see their HP cuz your HP bar have 100% opacity.

Better yet the opacity should be an adjustable option...

I think it's a strategy some people use to block minions, but I agree it shouldn't even be in the game.

I've often wondered about this.

An opacity slider or an option to adjust its size (like the rest of the HUD elements) would be a great addition IMO.

I like the opacity of it, but there should definitely be an option for it as well as many other aspects of the HUD.

THIS.

This happens to me so much top lane. I can't see a minion's HP bar because mine is covering it. Then I miss the CS and take some harass cause I'm dancing around like an idiot trying to position my hp bar on the screen xD

logged in to upvote, and comment that im upvoting. seriously this is one of the most annoying things followed by people blocking minions with themselves and not just their hp bar

10/10 agree with this. CSing is soooooo annoying sometimes because of my own damn HP bar.

I wish that this could apply to many things. I want the entire hud to be see through tbh. I hate missing CS or not seeing someone because theyre coming at me from my minimap or being blocked by healthbars.

I agree with this, although the HP Bar opacity of your team/opponent's team should increase depending on the amount of each champ that's nearby. That way you don't have to squint when you're in a teamfight, and that costs games. If you're farming CS, it's better to have a clearer HP bar because not only do you want to see theirs but yours takes up room. But if you're going against a Champ, you need to be able to see it.

I deliberately stand with my bar covering minions health bar. Just to be a jerk.

I've stolen jungle creeps from my jungler when leashing because of this exact reason.

It tilts them.

No joke, i've actually used this to my advantage when i'm playing a lane bully, i'll cover up minion health bars with my own so that the enemy can't time the last hit.

DrProfVibeCheck12/14/2015, 8:41:43 PM2 votes

Yo, but I win most of my melee 1v1s by standing over the enemy and letting my HP bar block theirs. They dont know how much health they're losing.

UP UP UP UP

Totally agree. Going into season 6, this should be a thing already. Doesn't seem like health bar can get in the way until you experience it first hand, but OP has it right. Shouldn't be too much trouble to code, right? :o

Another more easy and an smoother design would be to make that green/red squares at reduced opacity, thing wich will provide the much needed vision.
