If top and mid are bad my game is pretty much over, I am really sick of this. Once you heard your top and mid started dying it's pretty much over for me, cant do shit even if my lane is winning mostly. http://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=DontTrustPantsu here's my last game. Go and try to see all my loss game. Matchmaking really need some adjustment imo, games are becoming more predictable. Tbh it sucks, ppl complaining how op botlane is, that if it's winning game is over but here i am complaining how mid and top skill gap can cause a game :/ Does this happen to some fellow support main? [sg-soraka]

Yeah happens quite often. You can be crushing bot lane and your other lanes just fail hard and it's gg. To be honest it's not any one role or position that wins games. It is which team fails the hardest.

My favourite is when your lane is doing well but your jungle wastes their time trying to save a failing top lane, only for bot to get 4v2 ganked and lose first tower.

If you are a support main you are pretty much at the mercy of your team.

This is the main reason i dont agree when people say "you are at the rank where you should be."

This is absolutely not true for supports. Supports will take extra losses even if they did not play badly (yes this can happen for every role, but more for supports because if you are a mid or top or jungle..you can still carry a team even if you have a player having a very bad game). You can ward all you want, you can ping all you want. If your carries do not carry how is a support main supposed to rank up?

Then another thing people say is you have to carry yourself out of low elo.....so again.... how is a support main supposed to carry themselves out?

The only thing i can do is not que up support. but then that doesnt help because then you gett that person who gets autofilled support. So then you either switch rolse and end up supporting anyway or you just play it and have someone who doesnt know how to support and your bot lane gets shyt on.

As an ADC main, I agree completely. Bot is just getting hammered with ganks 24/7. We have no ability to fight through that if the rest of the team isn't taking advantage of it

Laugh at the enemy solo laner trying to carry the game while they are ploy-morphed for 2.25 seconds
win the game with the better adc.

Oh and don't forget to roam when you can whenever your adc is not going to be in lane or don't need you because the enemy bot lane died/backed, just because you're janna doesn't mean you can't at least blow the enemy mid sums.

Totally agree. I love playing support, I used to feel so empowered, like I controlled my team and was able to uplift them and turn entire games around, and now supports basically just kiss their team's ass and occasionally poke the enemy support for 45 minutes. I just feel like the support role as a whole has lost any significance, especially considering I've seen wildly off-meta botlanes (I'm talking 2 ADCs, 2 mages, 2 tanks etc) completely stomp out a traditional ADC-support botlane.

Yeah i can relate, the whole "adc can solocarry" is complete bullcrap.

If there isnt any form of frontline or someone who can keep the ADC from getting caught, they cant do crap.

fun fact: when i play support i wait until the fate of my lane is "decided" (aka either we stomp or get stomped because thats what bot lane is now) and then become the top/mid laner's support, not the best idea but it gets the most fun i can get out of the game

Happens to me constantly, really very irritating.

Botlane is a complicated issue. In higher elos you will see more utility playstyles in other roles, and the ADC will become highly protected by that utility as the team's damage source (building individual stats with multiplicative items is the most effective way to distribute stats, but requires highly complex play)

Lower elos like to pretend this is 'their' issue, BUT IT IS NOT. Low elo's issue with bot usually more along the lines of, their bot is feeding (and, as such, the enemy 10/1 Xayah hits like a truck) OR the enemy team is focusing bot because it's the weakest and provides the best map control if removed.

I try not to get obsessed with other lanes carrying / spiraling out of control. They all have their weaknesses / bad matchups / solocarry champs. And quite frankly, it's hard for bot lane to feed with me in it, because of my playstyle. If you're anything like me then that will color your perception. Try going another role and then maybe you'll see botlane spiral out of control.

Also a Janna main, was at Plat 3 with a 62% winrate, and like lighting, somehow it all turned around and I lost like 18 out of the last 20 Janna matches, because mostly of the jungler. I would have this Zac with 6 KDA over 8 games and just a 50% winrate and was wondering what's wrong, and what's wrong is that he wouldn't ever gank. He would just KS free kills (like he did in my games) to up his KDA and then proceed to not do anything. Then, in my next game, the enemy had a Zac jungle, who ganked us in bot 3 times in the first 5 minutes!! And I'm sitting here wondering why am I so unlucky with matchmaking. The same exact champion is technically AFK in my team and is solo carrying the enemy team.

item 3060 and group. So what if your Top lost lane? Your minion is pushing the lane so someone has to deal with it. While your toplaner doesn't have to dual the splitpusher any more, but use that bruiser/tank build they moved into because behind, and wreck in teamfights. Same for mid effectively. Except they are still full dmg and need some peel.
