playing fairly though. nothing fishy about as soon as he comes into frame it goes to 200 and i stop moving .

This seems like some coincidences + frequent lag spikes. I recommend monitoring your bandwidth usage manually in your Task Manager or (my preference) get a 3rd party application that will record the usage so you can look back even after it's gone (I use GlassWire). If there is someone else (or other devices) on the same network you may need to check with them.

I understand the urge to suspect the player or the client, but these are extremely unlikely to be the cause of connection lag.

had him 2 games in a row. 2 games where my ping spikes as soon as hes near me. literally my ping would grow higher the closer i got. lmfao.

Your ping not your FPS right? Just checking, as an FPS drop due to something being on screen has been known to happen.

I recommend grabbing your logs according to this linked article and sending them to Player Support in a Support Ticket if this is not a recurring issue with Yorick in the game and you believe it to be the player.

my fps would stay 121. my ms would climb from 40 - 200 lol.
