I am pretty incompitent to pro play but I have been playing him for a while now and I was wondering if the future buffs are really substantial for him, if they are going to make him played more in LCS and if it will make top lane Xin more appealing to play. I play him top and I do really well usually by the way.
Xin Zhao's kit isn't really LCS material since its so linear. Only times I remember Xin showing up were when his numbers were super high and OP.
But right now, Xin is balanced and is still good for solo que, But his kit is so straight forward without much outplay potential that the pros probably won't pick him up for awhile, unless some huge change indirectly super powers him up like the old feral flare.
The buffs were rather tame and mainly just give incentive to max E sometimes over W. A little buff to that early sustain and mid-late game burst. If he becomes played in the LCs, it will mainly be due to the VI, Nidalee, Rek Sai and J4 nerfs from the last couple of patches. However, I'm pretty sure most pro players will stick with champions they already know they are good at.
