AP champions are already really strong overall but these two champions specifically are taking over solo queue. Ekko is good at all stages of the game and so is Diana. I think his Ekko's shield needs to be nerfed as well as the AP ratios on his E. Diana is not as bad as Ekko but I don't like how she's being played in jungle.

Ekko and Diana aren't the same. Ekko can't be punished for anything he does unless he's stupid. Movement speed from hitting you, % hp nonsense, R. Diana goes in and that's it, either she kills or dies.

Why does Ekko have a 2s+ AOE stun AND assassin damage?
Ekko's ult needs to be changed honestly. He can already disengage from pretty much anything with his mobility and CC, does his ult really need to deal damage? It would still be strong even with just the heal. All it does it make literally impossible to trade with the champ unless he is massively behind. Either that or you're playing someone equally bullshit.

Ekko is a bad idea anyway for an assassin. If he was designed initially to be a bruiser or a tank, I think the whole rewind abilities would be cool but an assassin getting to just rewind is broken beyond belief.
Look at Atlus from Paladins, he's a tank with the ability to rewind and it works fine. He can still be punished and killed since he's such a big target, and his damage is pretty good at the cost of him being slow and him being slower overall.
Now look at Ekko, he's hyper mobile, has a stun and two slows in hit kit, an easy to spam harass ability, free damage passives, and a get out of jail free ultimate. He really needs some of his power removed, he has too much going for him all the time.
For Ekko
Reduce his Q slow and remove his run fast passive so less mobile champs have a chance to fight back.
Make his shield stun not linger so long after too.
For an assassin he has kinda high amounts of cc.
Revert the stupid buffs they gave coming up to his skin release which was TOTALLY not related to his buffs

I love having to prep a charm combo and hit a skill shot from range as Evelynn to do damage while all Ekko has to do is press E and point blank Q to trigger his passive and do the same damage as me with more mobility and a survivality+nuke ult on top of a shield that can zone because otherwise you aoe stun them.
ekko has been buffed alot because of the skins he got so he got uber OP

Actually its mostly assasins/divers and fighters like Mordekaiser and Vlad.
The only strong mage is Cassio. Every other AP heavy champion that isnt an assassin or a fighter (or some unholy combo or both) simply is massively out of meta.
