To Irelia players

I struggle with each my 4 favorites to beat Irelia...

I play Rumble, Kennen, Jayce and Gragas Top...

So far with Gragas it is possible to hold and sometimes even win the lane.

Wich of these is best suited against her?

Personally I would go with Jayce or Gragas if those are your picks. I usually pick Singed if I know I'm facing her ahead of time.

Gragas, his Q allows for easy farming, his E cc and mobillity make it dangerous to dive him and his Q+W+E combo can be nasty for trading. With gragas u also only have to stay even in lane to have more midgame impact than a not-fed Irelia. U havemore cc and aoe for midgame clashes, and ur ult got huge potential. The CC and burst allso makes him good at seting up ganks if irelia pushes onto his tower.

Rumble or Gragas. With Gragas being better.

jayce just gets wrecked by Irelia, for the same reason he gets wrecked by Fiora. You cant knock her away when she jumps onto you if she Qd to a minion.

And Irelia just overall does well against ranged, so kennen isnt a great pick.

Yall r wrong ass hell i am an irelia player and kennen is who id use to beat her Start with all flat ap runes and masteries then go for a att speed temo like build if u can hurricane &nashor tooth r fast enough your high ap and wave clear will stop her from diving u trust me built correctly and maxing your lighting rush she cant dash to chase u even if she roams you'll be able to presser her mid lane so much shell have to over extended and then u can just kill her cause u r so hard to target with a creep wave she caint take u and a minion wave cause she wont have the positing to ult plus end game when she normally gets un killable u have the most att speed in the game and r highly mobile so if u just don't fight her early and just bait your turn by mid game you'll have her jungeler babysitting her then what do ya know flash zhonaz double kill

I believe Gragas is probably the best against her. You can:
-Use your damage reduction to block some of her burst (even though her W is true damage, she does mostly physical damage) -Use your knockback on E and slow on Q to disengage when she jumps on you to try and kite out her W duration -Rival her sustain with your passive -Set up easy ganks with your ultimate -Use your ultimate to disengage from an attempted all-in (when she uses her ultimate) -Build tanky enough to survive against her while having enough innate damage to combat her (RoA, Iceborn Gauntlet/Frozen Heart)

Other champions good against Irelia are: -Malphite (passive shield, attack speed slow) -Olaf (similar dueling, immune to Equilibrium Strike, faster application of true damage so he wins shorter trades, less mana intensive then dueling) -Darius (very strong fighter during Irelia's weakest phase, can potentially burst Irelia before she applies her damage or healing) -Udyr (Tiger stance Udyr can and will zone you off a lot of early CS if played properly, will be able to deal significant damage without allowing Irelia to retaliate, and strong enough to win most 1v1 duels until pretty late in the game. Udyr also likes Frozen Heart, which hurts Irelia's damage)
