First pick a primary lane, then fill roles.

Example me: I like the jungle the best. So with that in mind here are my roles. Tank: Maokai Sejuani Ivern AD Carry: Jax XinZhao Pantheon AP Carry: Diana Elise Also the fewer champs you play, the better that you will become with them and the easier new champs will be to learn.

This is happen to me the same thing.

Edit: you can do Janna or sona.

Choose the roles you play mainly and then choose from there.

Me for example: I play Mid, Jungle and top.

With those 3 roles I like to have at least 3 main champions for each. 1 Main champ, one secondary just incase and one third incase for some reason my champs are banned/taken (although not likely to hit number 3)

Mid: Vel'koz, Orianna, Viktor

Jungle: Olaf, Nocturne, Shyvanna

Top: Olaf, Pantheon, Nocturne

It all depends on your preference. You can always switch around to have fun but if you really wanna choose something to stick with, look at the champion itself and their backstory. Maybe you can love champions for their storyline and who they are - making them more interesting. I got a friend who plays Renekton who became unoffically the top played Renekton (split between 2 accounts. One was ranked 3rd (not many games from rank 1 and 2) and his second one was rank 5 or 6). He plays Renekton so much because he loves his concept and his story. He loves how he is this slaughter machine that looks like he came from the depths of another strange world.

I love Nocturne for example because of how he looks. He is this badass unknown entity that has a mysterious background. There isn't much about him and his kind and if you read his story - he simply just 'appeared'. I'm sure there is more Lore out there from Riot but here is what it says:

"Before Nocturne, people believed that dreams were figments of their imagination, meaningless images that flashed through the mind when one slept. This belief was put to the test when a rash of sleep-related incidents started afflicting summoners of the League. Some would wake up screaming, terrified and beyond consolation. Some could not fall asleep, slowly going mad as the nights ticked by. Some simply never woke up. Physicians were baffled until a Field Architect happened to pass out next to a nexus on Twisted Treeline. Witnesses said he cried out once and then stopped breathing. Immediately after, magical energy arced out from the nexus, and Nocturne appeared.

Nocturne did not take his introduction to this world kindly. He slaughtered everything he could find before summoners were able to magically confine him. After a period of intense study, League experts divined that Nocturne hunted summoners in their sleep, attacking them in a place where their magic was useless. This seemed to be his only purpose. The families of the victims demanded justice, but League officials were concerned that death might only return Nocturne to the place from which he came. They bound him to a nexus fragment, trapping him in the physical world. As punishment for his crimes, they allowed summoners to call upon Nocturne in the League matches, bending his will to the summoners he hates and creating his own personal nightmare. League scholars don't know whether he truly came from the plane of dreams, or whether there are any more like him. Some theorize that the summoning act affected summoners' subconscious minds, luring Nocturne to them in their sleep. Perhaps the most disturbing theory is that Nocturne is a person's nightmare come to life. If this is true, they wonder, who is the dreamer?

''The darkness is closing in...it's pitch black now...but I can still see him...''

  • Kelvin Ma, patient #4236"

That alone draws me to nocturne. The same goes for Pantheon and vel'koz. Maybe you like the cute things or bad-ass type girl champions that destroy other champions. The choice is yours but if it helps, try to get into a more personal level with the champion to get your 'main' or 'mains'!

Given the name, I would suggest just sticking to Jinx

Or maybe try Shaco and Jihn. Again, loosely basing your interests in Lore on your name Most of the shadow Isle characters would fit too.

Now that I think about it though, we don't have a real knife fighter or time-based champion. Errrr, let me rephrase, champion based around manipulating time in combat. Both of which would also match the name.

When you want to OTP a champ you have to take a few things into consideration.

  1. First and formost you have to LOVE!!!! the champ. You should love them more than your own mother, since you will probably spend more time with them. If you don't then the game will become very stale, very fast and you will have wasted(to some extent) a lot of time mastering a champ that you don't like playing.
  2. They need to be(at the very least) not trash. I'm talking champs that are broken and have been thrown into the gutter or will likely end up there soon such as Ryze Singed(you should never play singed regardless) Azir Kalista Chogath Kindred etc.
  3. They SHOULD be a champ that you can actually get in champ select. Champs like Yasuo LeeSin Lucian Darius Riven will always have insanely high pick/ban rates. There really is no such thing as "one tricking" these champs since they will be picked or banned away from you a majority of the time.
  4. It's HIGHLY pref that your champ can fill multiple roles(3 at the very least). Even if you have a champ that you can pick 99% of the time, riot still hates OTP's and will force you to go somewhere other than your pref role 40-30% of the time. If your champ can play "sup" then BONUS BONUS BONUS points for that champ.
  5. also best to avoid champ that are always on "the rito balance roller-coaster". These champs include Gangplank Fizz Fiora Kassadin Lux Malzahar Nidalee Nautilus Zed Soraka etc. These champs are hard to play consistently since you have to readjust yourself to their new numbers every other patch. One of the biggest advantages to being a OTP is knowing how much dmg you can take/deal to enemies. OTP's are almost never surprised that they won a fight because they understand the limits of their champ so well.

With that being said, my picks for best OTP champs are: Ahri Annie Brand Camille Cassiopeia Diana Ekko Elise Evelynn JarvanIV Poppy Shyvana Sion Velkoz Warwick MonkeyKing Ziggs and any sup that isn't Janna Lulu or Soraka right now. ADC's are also really flexible right now on account of them being OP, but that will end eventually^tm .

Sincerely, an Evelynn OTP

Edit: also another bonus point is champs that can flex their builds. Evelynn and Shyvana are probably the best examples of this. They can go AD, AP, tank, and anything in between. Other examples areEkko JarvanIV Kayle Leona MissFortune Teemo XinZhao Warwick Jax etc.

Have you considered the Tank/Assassin/Bruiser/Full AP Burstmage for Top/Mid/Jungle/Support that is Sion ? Guy is fun, balanced, and highly versatile. Has good 1v1 and great teamfight. Not to mention awesome lore and voice acting.

Filling isn't so bad if you can't stick to one role but then try to figure out what you like to do most in those roles (play style) and go from there.

It's ok to be spread out until you realize which one you want to play more. You want a couple of pocket picks anyways for matchups and/or team comp. Your tastes will change as you learn the game and adapt to the meta and your elo, as well, so don't be surprised if something is working out anymore for one reason or another.

From the looks of it, you enjoy champions with a greater capacity to carry, some kind of reliable CC, and nuanced forms of skill expression. As a support main, I can tell that you should avoid the support role - or at least until it becomes something more attractive to you. The mid lane may be the best fit for you, considering the large number of roaming champions you have on your list. To answer your question, here are two picks for each role from your list, and one more champion you might appreciate:

|Lane ---------------------------------------| Pick 1 ---------------------------------| Pick 2 --------------------------------------------| Try Out |- |Top|Riven|Gangplank|Rumble |Jungle|Warwick|Ivern|Kha'Zix |Mid|Katarina|Diana|Aurelion Sol |Bot|Xayah|Miss Fortune|Draven |Support|Sona|Janna|Bard
