Is it way harder to get champions now?
I am almost level 50 and I only have 28 champs and I see people who are level 150 who have all champs. This does not seem possible with the current rate we receive blue essence.

It's actually a bit easier now. BE gains is about equivalent to the old system but if you happen to get a shard for a champ you want then you are ahead.
Level means nothing. This account is only like 80 but has every champ unlocked because level 30 was the hardcap for so many years
the level was capped at 30 for a long time. people were playing without getting any xp. so although it might say they are only level 150, they might have tens of thousands of games under their belt
I mean, for newer people or newer accounts (or people like me who have these useless low BE champ shards that cant be used on anything good because they disenchant for trash), they should allow you reroll champ shards for a random perma champ shard, or allow you to combine 3 of one kind of shard into a perma shard.
Use champ shards and sell ones that you already have or dont want. Some champ shards sell for a good amount of BE.
One you have all the champs you have nothing else to spend BE on so when a new champ comes out you can always get it.
I have over 100k BE and thats after buying stuff from the BE sale they did.
The more games per day you play, the better the old system would be. Though if you upgrade whatever shards you get instead of only ever disenchanting, the current system might be better no matter what.
It’s easier. But if you must have all champs then use your tokens to buy mystery champion shard which will always give 960/1060 BE during Events.
