stop complaining about ww

Did you come here only to downvote? pfft, how typical. Just read a bit and THEN you can downvote me into oblivion ;)

The music literally gets louder the closer he gets to you.

If you actually stay in lane below 20% hp, you will die. (dont do dumb things)

He does not have direct CC until level 6.. very avoidable CC actually..

Only a good ww knows how to use his abilities, and their mechanics (only a good WW will use Q's graple ability, other ww's just spam Q like idiots. I play ww occasionally to have fun and use Q very strategically)

If the ww is good, he will use Q on a minion to fear you, dont complain if he does that, he is a good ww player that should be respected for knowing what the champ does.

stop complaining about him, hes perfectly fine, his W may be problematic at times, but the unless ww is good, his team fight is bad and he gets typically outscaled late game.

face it, everything up there is fact, dont argue with feelings please.

He's actually one of the highest winrate junglers at the moment due to his simplicity and his low mechanical ceiling. This champion is rewarded by showing up late to team fights to get anywhere from a double to a triple kill in bot lane. The damage reduction makes it nearly impossible to fight this champion early with the amount of sustain he has. Even the strongest duelist champions early cannot fight this champion while hes able to match their clear speed (skarner, Shyvana.) Every warwick player maxes w in the case that it enables fighting and free kill potential if anyone even dares to drop below 50% health. These are statistics, facts and gameplay of the champion and honestly do believe he needs a slight tweak in his power

ok good, no emotions.

anyway lets get to the point. Dont fight him early game. Its like fighting an aatrox early game, you lose no matter what. just wait to outscale them, I mean i know aatrox scales hard and has a good early 1v1, but that doesnt matter. Im just saying dont feed him early and he is then garbage late to mid if he doesnt get more than 1 kill.

And dont use abilities during his E, just kite or studer him. and then burst him after words.

hope this helps :)

The reason that WW's annoying is because it's the EARLY game he warps: He has the earliest access to the fastest move speed - and it doesn't even have to be vs the target with low hp; It can be a full HP champ on the way to the champ with low HP. For example, if WW is top, and Support is 20% HP, Mid very well be collateral damage of the support being low.

Furthermore, no other champ really punishes low HP like WW does, and many times you really can't help it. If you just killed bot, you're probably in a low HP state. All WW needs to get to you from Mid/other side of map is about a strong 10 seconds or less, and he cleans up what they left behind. You may have been planning to recall, but he just doesn't always give the time.

The biggest annoyance though is he forces recalls just by existing. You lose all lane pressure you would have had, just because he exists. You can't attempt to take a turret after a lane kill, because WW is probably going to come clean you up and he can do so at 600+ move speed when you still don't even have boots. You can't pressure a low HP opponent, because it's likely WW is going to come 2v1 you while you do. Lanes become a permanent assumption that no matter where WW is farming, he can reach you in just a few seconds. And early game, he scares teams more than an Evelynn does mid game because of this.

Now.... i generally agree that WW is preventable and avoidable by using good slows and cc to stop his chases, and heals to sustain lanes. However, sometimes I ban him anyways....... just because I don't know/trust my teams and I know WW can easily go 8/0 by level 6...... just by existing vs teams who don't live by the creed of not having a FB until 15:00. Solo Queue is why WW is dangerous. You might be the smartest player in regards to WW. Your team isn't, and eventually he becomes such a nuisance that even smart playing around him is a problem.

He's also a level 3-4 Drake taker in a meta where supports and laners no longer have surplus wards to devote to the Drake pit (Mid pink one side/ward other, Bot River bush/side bushes, top River bush and noway near Drake). Given that Infernal drake seems to spawn 70% of games first, it just seems common sense to ban the champ who can solo the drake before you can even see him do it.

Okay, so? He runs at you at 2x the speed of yi in highlander.

If you actually stay in lane below 20% hp, you will die. (dont do dumb things)

fair enough, you should play around specific champion kits.

He does not have direct CC until level 6.. very avoidable CC actually..

It's not that easy to avoid it when WW runs at you at 2x highlander speed and has a dash.

Being good at a champion doesn't make everything they do fair you know. Ww has the 2nd highest winrate in jungle after rek'sai, he's definitively a little strong.

U talk about the W Movespeed a lot, you know if you auto him once it falls off til he's out of combat again right?

By the time he's in range for that auto attack and the animation for your auto goes off, he's in range for his Q.

Hitting him with skills is an option, but bonus movement speed also makes that fairly difficult.

His base movement speed, by the way, isn't low, it's average (335). A lot of champs are at 325 - 330.

My favorite is Holding Q to dip behind someone and fear em back into my laner :).

And yeah WW has a lot of counterplay, if you poke him even once he loses ALL his W Movespeed til he's outta combat again (and his base MS is LOW).

And he gets punished heavily for missing ult, feels so bad when someone flashes your ult and you just slide into the middle of the enemy team like welp, im fucked now lmao.

Here's another fact: he's among the best-performing junglers in the game, with a nearly 11% pick rate and 53.5% win rate in diamond+.

Here's another fact: he's too strong and needs to have his power trimmed.

Statistically speaking, he is too strong. Very easy to play with a high play rate and a consistent 55-56% win rate. Hit kit is interesting and, overall, fine, but he needs some serious number adjustments.

I don't know what you mean by direct CC before 6, especially when he has his AoE fear... CC is CC, and he has two forms of it. They're not point and click, but they're not exactly the most difficult to land either.

He's not mechanically complex at all. Is my main, Velkoz, mechanically complex because I know how to use angles to Q you behind a minion line? Hell, Vel is more mechanically complex than WW due to having a full skillshot kit and I still think he's easy to play.

As you said W, is his main issue. Falling under 50% health and being forced to back is bad enough without him being able to manually activate the ability every 20-30 seconds once he gains a few levels. If the skill gave movement speed scaling with the amount of missing health on the enemy rather than a flat 35-55% at 50% health t would make it a lot more easy to play around.

The fact is, the current meta favors the early game, and Warwick's is just too strong. Yes, he falls off late game (fairly hard, honestly), but when most games are being ended by the 30 minute mark, that dropoff isn't noticed much.
