I really like nexus siege.

Title says it all this mode is really fun and actually has some fun and competitive feeling to it. I really honestly hope this one sticks around.

how do other people feel about it?

I like it for these reasons

  1. It teaches people do not ignore the losing lane or it will come back to bite you later. insert obligatory obliterator cannon meme seriously it frustrating in a regular game when people just dont wanna help the losing lane and end up losing because of it, this mode shows some big repercussions when people are like "hey man nuts to top" then wondering why a cannon keeps rekting them every 60 seconds.

  2. The Competitive feel. Its nice to see that's its race who can siege better or who can defend better. It gives me a sorta overwatch'y feel to it.

  3. Do i wanna go better offense or better defense in champ select? makes champ select have some thought to it unlike other rotating modes where its just "oh this champs pretty cheese on this mode" while not breaking balance totally on it.

  4. The mode where "the best defense is a good offense" and the best "offense is a good defense". makes some nice fun trying to defend the siege cannons and teleport pads, and defends suddenly have to go attack mode not just play passive and win.

Overall i really like this mode and love for it to become like ARAM where its always here, or even go as far and make it ranked (even thought i have my doubts it go that far). Cause I don't care if i got ranked 5 bronze mode in ranked nexus siege id still play the Junk outa it.

What does every one else think about this new mode's longevity, game play, etc?

Would love to hear some thoughts!

didn't sign up for this lesson.

If you go defensive you will not even be playing. When defense wins then can't do anything on offense the game becomes such a snooze fest

and when defense wins both rounds you just have a 40 minute bad time.

My buddy and I went Illaoi + Azir top on both defense and offense. They couldnt do anything about us. We just lane bullied them until they backed while we took tower and i just counter-engaged them when they tried to gank.

I think this game mode is amazing. I like it more than normal SR, and more than URF

Also the obliterator's sound effects are top notch.
