Funnest Supports

So, with a lot of posts about how nobody plays support, and that the role could use some work (hint hint, it definitely does), I thought I make a post about our favorite and funnest supports.

First off, I shall make an honorable mention: Every single champion in the game except for Soraka. Taric support? Funner than Soraka. Viegar Support? Funner. Urgot Support? Funner. Hell, even this new item is more engaging than Soraka. Fuck Soraka (inb4 rule 34)

So, I sometimes call myself a support main. That would be a lie. I am a Leona main. So, she is my favorite support to play. Before I go into why, I must do some praising So, Leona is my main, and my favorite support to play. Lets begin with the fact that she plays super aggressive. More often than not, bot lane is a back and forth battle between my ADC and the enemy ADC. Sometimes the jungler jumps in, and then both top lanes TP down bot, and it becomes a massive battle that is quite engaging. Leona is also tanky AF and it is always fun running away from three enemies who couldn't quite kill me. Basically, Leona always keeps me on my toes, and she is super fun to play.

My second favorite support is Shen. I recently picked him up on the free week, and let me tell you, he is pretty fun to play in the bot lane. He is not exactly the best person to win lane with, but I do quite like his taunt, and I do a nice bit of damage. Not to mention, once mid-late game comes around, I am extremely tanky. What I really love about Shen is that, in my ELO (which seems to be slightly high silver, although I haven't completed my promos) I can just ult the top laner who is loosing a dual, and then E Q W, and BOOM. The fight is won. It is so satasfying using his ult to save someone on a small amount of health, and then turn around and kill the enemy. SOOOOO GOOOOOD!

The third one is a tie between Blitzcrank and Thresh. I am not a particularly good Thresh player, as I have only played him once. I am not a super good Blitz player either, but it is always pretty fun to get a good Q R E with the ADC right there. Insta kill. The sole reason I added Thresh was because I fought a pretty good hearted Thresh who literally went ADC Thresh and completely wrecked my team. I didn't have the best game as Diana, but I could for the most part be a good assassin. Thresh would burst me down quicker than I have ever seen before. The Thresh was a pretty good guy about it, which was fun.

So, to be perfectly honest, I only really like playing Leona and Shen as support, but I would like to hear your favorite support or best support stories. Although, if your favorite support is Soraka, then get out. Just. Just. Get out. You are not welcome here. End it all. (I'm kidding. I play Soraka sometimes as well)
