I wouldn't mind the announcer to say something like: "KILL DENIED!" or "LIVE SAVED!". That would be cool....or maybe for April Fools the Carry's scaling is made to be in line with Supports while Supports get Hyper Carry scaling. just so everyone else can know what it's like.

Can the boards just stop jerking off supports so hard please. Like Jesus Christ who cares if you get flamed, everyone gets flamed not just supports. In fact in most of my games the jungler gets flamed to hell not the support. Yes nobody deserves to get flamed, yes supports don't always get the glory, but that's how life is. And plus in most of my games the support will actually flame the adc saying "first time adc" or "first time x Champ" or "learn how to cs you X". What you are proposing is ridiculous. Yes the things the supports do should be recognised more, but like c'mon. Anyway that's the end of my rant, probably gonna get downvoted into oblivion but whatever.

It's funny that they say supports get flamed but whether I'm playing ADC or another role, it's always the Support flaming the ADC. Blaming the ADC for losing lane, etc.

It doesn't matter if it happens on my team or the enemy team. It seems it's ALWAYS the ADC's fault somehow. Which is funny because a good Support is who wins lane bot imo.

every time there's a post about a support doing something kind of cool, it's on the front page every time there's a post saying "give supports x buff / item / etc" it's on the front page every time a support main says "adc no know how play game when i roam!!!" it's on the front page

there's a gigantic support circlejerk in these boards and generally in-game they're praised as much as any other role

As a player who has gravitated away from support (somewhat, I still play support sometimes) I have found that while they are over appreciated by some people it is primarily because they are so underappreciated by most players in game. On the boards for example they are appreciated knowing that of every role they are the ones who receive the most flaming in games. Knowing that the only thing keeping queue times down for those mid/top players is a willingness of people to play this role in spite of them probably being able to play a role that might be a little bit more fun.

I'm not saying the suggestion in the OP is practical but I do think there needs to be some love for supports in the way of in game mechanics to make the role more fun. Anything that creates incentive to play support will bring the role equality in terms of queue times closer together and I think that is a quality goal to have for the game developers.

Being bronze 5 my experiences may differ from yours but just my experiences talking.

saying "this guy's dead" is a lot more important for everyone than saying "this guy helped out in a kill" or "this guy saved this other dude's life"

no they shouldn't, because it's still more valuable to everyone in the game to know "hey this guy's fed as hell now" rather than "three of your guys died, figure out who did it"

besides the fact instead of constantly saying "an enemy died", having different announcements for rapid kills gives the game more variety

just go to general discussions and wait there are 2 kinds of support posts there the ones that talk about how supporting isn't an easy/fun job and the ones telling supports to shut up and be a good set of "luggage"

Only in LCS does anybody ever notice Thresh hook a bitch through minions, threading that needle like a seamstress, and get excited over it. In solo q you do that shit, the adc is gifted kills and everybody sucks him off...

it makes it less desirable to play when even if youre amazing, no one cares. They wont even let you proc your relic shield because "hes the support, he doesnt need gold."

Would love to see a rotating game mode where the champion roster is reduced to only support champions so it's 5v5 all support teams. That would be fun as hell!
