How can anyone carry this?

My Team Jax (ME): 16/9 Twitch: 9/13 Pantheon: 3/11 Singed: 5/11 Teemo 3/13

Their Team Yasuo: 16/4 LuLu: 5/6 Cait: 22/6 Yi: 5/11 Atrox: 9/7

I started early game with lots of kills, 1 death. At about 5 minutes twitch and pantheon had died 6 times each, so I focused on keeping my GPM up and farming as much as possible. I ganked a few times and killed cait and lulu.

Teemo was just feeding yasuo too fast, I ganked killed yasuo, kept my GPM going

SInged was a similar story.

At about 30 minutes the enemy team yasuo and cait were trash talking to me beyond belief and got super tilted. They started ignoring twitch and the rest of my team and just targeting me again and again, 4 man diving me.

I tried to take the pressure off for the rest of my team so they could push but twitch teemo and singed together couldnt fight one guy, (atrox), sometimes 2.

My GPM was around 470, Id prefer it to be 500 but I dont understand how I could carry this game?

some games were just not meant to be won.

People tell me if I belong outside of silver, I should be able to carry this game, I Dont see how anyone could, and ID like to know how they would if they could.

Well you can't carry a game you're just destined to lose. You're going to lose some games. You have to accept that. Honestly at this point it isn't going to help you to make smurfs to try your luck getting higher rank. That defeats the whole purpose of what you're suppose to do which is to get to a point you are good enough where you can solo carry. The term solo carry does not mean you will win 100% of games and even in the games you've won you are the only one who carried. When you are good enough, you will begin to see and generating numbers like amazing KDA on top of having high win rate % (I'm talking if you want to solo carry yourself out of bronze->gold) you want to have around 65%-75% or more at the bronze 1 level. That'll take you to gold 5 playing consistently for about 2-3 days. Climbing is not hard if you got the mechanics and game knowledge behind them. Therefore the ability to climb is completely subjective and whether or not that is easy/hard is also subjective. Seek to improve yourself. Even if you don't need to, what do you have to lose by making yourself better right? At the end of the day, it'll just mean you'll climb higher ranks than you would have.

here is something you guys dont understand, League makes evenly balanced teams based on MMR and who sucks dick. when you have a person with gold or plat MMR they will pair you with basically garbage worse than bronze 5.

Just finished a game as Jax (9/7), with yasuo (12/12), annie (7/12), miss fortune (7/16), and a leblanc (6/19) who purposely afked on my team (this has happened in 25 games in the past 3 days, never happened once on enemy team though).

Anyway the scores on the enemy team were, (13/7 gangplank, 13/12, lux, 21/7 katarina, 2/5 xin zhao, 17/10/21) miss fortune.

This is a typical loss situation for me. Why did I stay positive. btw I managed to drag the game to 55 minutes WITH an AFK and feeders, because my mechanics, skills, map awareness are far superior to my team mates.

The enemy team has such a strong burst that 1 v 5 is just next to impossible. Gang plank miss fortune and kat would triple ult me under base because, the rest of my team was so bad they didnt need anything more than a few basic attacks.

So in many games people are destined to lose this way. I should probably mention I was 9/1 for most of the game until they started focusing me 100% because annie miss fortune were dead 95% of the time, and leblanc was AFK, yasuo was also dead most of the time.

now the difference in ranked is we would pick counters (although leblanc hard counters kat so, wtf). and I would not slide through with our team comp.

I turned this games situation around from a surrender at 20, to a 55 minute game with all their towers down, except for inhibitor tower b ecause, again, 1 v 5 situation. Even if I was challenger I could not 1 v 5

League MMR matchmaking isn't perfect; we've seen proof of that and in a pool of premade MMR matchmaking that number is even more skewed/inaccurate. Again any excuse for loss at the low level of both silver and bronze is just an excuse. You still need to learn to solo carry because you can't consistently rely on your "terrible" teammates. Too many players are still learning at the bronze-> plat level. And that's kudos that you alone turn a 20 minute surrender to a 55 minute game but it doesn't change the fact you lost that match. No one is asking you to 1v5. It is easy to carry at that level just simply from split pushing. People realistically do NOT have good enough lane rotation until gold/plat to efficiently counter a semi-good split pusher.

Carrying toxic, feeding, noobs like that...is literally impossible. By the time you're fed to the tooth, you're stuck 1v5 since your team went to ass. I wouldn't bother with playing ranked this season...it's wayy too toxic even for the most hardened player, and if you think you can maintain your Silver and/or reach Gold, more power to you.

Good Luck is all I can say.

That's joke. Look at my last match as of this post:- http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2183048626/228591326?tab=overview

Was 24-7 Vi and we still lost. Game is not about kills but about taking towers. I blame myself for that loss. Wasn't even mad. Was just to tired to say anything and my team didn't abuse to advantages I secured for them including clearing that map of enemies by securing two quadras. Most people playing this game especially a lower elos do not think. The do stupid shit over and over again. If you're fed, people usually listen to you. In my case, I was just too tired to shot call and let my team do whatever they wanted.

fullbacks631 votes

Your GPM is literally the same as mine, Your team performed well. I am aware it is about taking towers and at about 8 minutes we had all 3 of our first lane towers down, so I went in and took each of the lane towers when I could.

Like I said, I always take objectives, and I will sometimes avoid a team fight and just kite/distract them at my turret while my team pushes.

But in this game with twitch pantheon and teemo pushing together and me holding off (which i was able to for quite some time), yasuo triple killed all of them, atrox triple killed all of them.

I tried to push objectives but like I said they hated me at a point. Yasuo even started threatening to bomb my house etc etc, super toxic.

Key point "usually people will listen to you", in this case they didnt. Even in the situation they would, they would die too fast.

well it wasn't a ranked game, but tbh some people I think could have carried that game. I doubt I could have, but maybe someone of plat or diamond elo. Like XelNiya said winning the game is about turrets. With your lead probably the best thing would have been to continue to split push and force the enemy to sent at least two to you (I assume you could solo any of them). Hopefully your team eventually could figure out how to win a 3v4 then assuming you are not dead when they fight.

fullbacks631 votes

That is the problem. The team wouldnt split push. My friends and I joke that Bronzes take "bronze walks", periods of time where they will go farm something stupid (like golems or birds), when our lanes are all completely pushed to the enemy turret, and only 2 of them are alive

There is a reason they call bronze, elo hell. Thankfully I'm silver, but that is hardly any different.

I remember some games where I ace the enemy team, I die, we have all lanes to inhibitors, and my team has 4/5 people alive, 2 with teleport active, and they decide to go get drag or baron instead of just finishing inhibitors...

Some games where as jg, you tower dive bot lane, secure 2 kills, are about to kill the enemy jungler, kill him, and your adc is right next to you with heal available, doesnt pop it.

Dukues1 votes

I like the term "bronze walks" going to start using that.

Well you sound like you have a decent understanding so I think you will probably climb fairly quickly. Silver 4 and 5 are pretty similar to bronze but the lower you get in silver your teammates should start being a little smarter. I know I have been playing with my buddies on my silver 5 account while playing a lot of jungle and I get super annoyed. I know I am not that great but I do everything I can to try and help my team win but we always seem to have one or two teammates who just go on bronze walks during the most important periods of the game. This account is only gold 5, but I hardly seen my teammates or the enemy team do shit like that. Most of my games have been close and competitive and fun. Then I log onto an account a tier lower and I get teammates who look to be playing the game for the first time while the enemy all seem to have some sense of what is going on. I for one have a hard time trying to carry those games. Granted a lot of my losses are when playing with friends so that could be a problem.

Those moments you get an s rank on a defeat...

fullbacks631 votes

An S is great but it still doesnt help the problem. Sometimes Its impossible to carry. Im silver 4 on this account. My other account was stuck in bronze 2-3. and I kept getting s's with loses in ranked.

I eventually just made a new one and won my promos. (although admittedly I did horribly on promos on this account because I forgot to buy my main champions at the time.

Ive played with a few diamond friends who werent able to carry games with half the feeding in this game (and they were against silver, bronze, and gold).

Eevee In A Jar1 votes

If you consistently get S rank aka show that you perform well every game but can't carry despite showing you've got the stats to be able to... there's only one meaning behind it.

You've got the mechanics knowledge on how to play laning and how to transition. But you probably lack knowledge of how to close out games. With that said, some games are just unwinnable. In those games, you should try your best to recognize that early and understand you can only move on instead of worrying.

Next, the fact that you played normals with few diamonds who weren't able to carry games with half the feeding doesn't explain anything. I'm not meaning any offense but bronze->plat is a rank you can get to by solo carrying yourself. Albeit it becomes harder and harder but it's how you climb at first. Also don't pay attention to your mastery grades. It's one of the worst things Riot has put in. I've seen completely horrible players who didn't do anything get S rank and people who carried the game single-handed not get it.

There are players in challenger who have never gotten S rank on many champs people who can't climb out of bronze 5 have gotten S in.

fullbacks631 votes

Thats it! Plat and silver are different in runes, mechanics, and gpm.

I wasn't aware of GPM most of the time until my Diamond friend taught me. Then I started beating other plats in games we played together.

But in many cases it just isn't damn possible to carry a bronze game. It is 10X easier to carry a silver game than a bronze game. One of the important keys I find to success in league is making every second useful as far as gold income is. In most cases it doesnt happen this way. Bronzes go for bronze walks.

Eevee In A Jar1 votes

If you are clearly better than your peers in bronze you should be winning around 70-90% of your games. But it's pretty obvious that not all games can be won or carried.

fullbacks631 votes

I am silver, so I am clearly better than bronze friends, and many times I can carry bronze games (depends on role honestly, support is very hard to carry with).

Eevee In A Jar1 votes

Well TBH that doesn't really prove anything. A person can luck into gold and never truly deserve to get out of bronze; then they'll free fall from there which att. Putting the dynamic queue aside that is.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad; there's simply way too little games played for me to be able to say anything conclusive from your win/loss % with just 13 games. But 38% is basically decaying. You WILL drop back to bronze and cannot maintain a silver rank at this point.

Lucking into a rank from placements does not prove you are better than bronze friends; you single-handed carrying yourself to the rank in question multiple times prove you belong there. Again nothing I say is conclusive simply because you have way too little games played but your numbers don't prove you're better than anyone or that you deserve the rank you achieved yet.

If you got "stuck" at bronze 2-3 or ANYWHERE below silver and can't carry yourself out of that, then you don't deserve to be silver even if you have another account where you got placed in gold or silver through placements.

My point is that you generate decent looking KDA probably due to decent mechanics but you lack experience and knowledge about the game that prevents you from closing out games aka you don't REALLY deserve that rank. So technically you still aren't quite better than your peers. You can get to a pretty high rank with trash mechanics and good game knowledge easier. I'm not saying this to make you feel bad or to make myself feel better by ventilating on someone with lower rank than me. I'm saying this so you won't think "I'm good enough, it's not my fault; it's my teammates." Because at this rank, it should be easy to solo carry climb if you are truly "better" than your peers. Silver level skill is not that much different from bronze at all. Mid to high bronze players can play on the same level as high silvers and it'll be a pretty much be an even match.

fullbacks631 votes

I think you've pretty much went over the line with your speech. And you dont know what youre talking about here. So let me discuss with you why youre are so horribly wrong.

High bronze is the same as silver, and then at the same time you say you should be able to carry yourself out of bronze.

Again, back when I played the promo games I didnt have any of my main champions, I had just leveled a new account through playing intermediate and intro bots. I am worth a plat player and I play like one. so keep your filthy mouth shut.

Eevee In A Jar1 votes

Yeah your only account taht made it to plat has 38% win rate and got lucked into silver from placements. You haven't proven you can rank up and climb to silver 5 even from bronze 1 promos. That's my point. My point is that it is easy to luck into placements but at a 38% win rate in silver is a decaying ratio meaning you basically will drop to bronze eventually. It doesn't mean much. On top of that you only have less than 20 games so you can't say you got there and deserve it conclusively. Nothing wrong with what I said. You're letting biased emotions get the better of you.

fullbacks631 votes

I am referring to Normal games. And my normal win rate is very strong in my elo. I am a plat player and you can say what you want to try to tilt me but the fact is, Not even a challenger player can 1 v 5 a team. Now its a different story when youre 1 v 5 against a team who has been essentially intentionally fed .

Your logic is flawed and reflects in your deficient thinking skills.

Please see a doctor.

Your mistake was in champ select where you picked a useless champion and gave your team a loss.

Jax can't carry, no matter how fed he is. Terrible champion, pls stop picking him if you don't wanna get reported.

Youre a noob, go back to ur EUW . Report for choosing a champion? No wonder Europe's economy is in economic failure
