Also it compares to the performance of other ekkos in your region I heard. So if more people do really good with said champ, the expectations go up for S.

I recently had a really good game with Leona but I finally died unnecessarily at the end and got an A+. I completely understand why I didn't get an s... if S is the best grade you can get, why would I get it when I died towards the end completely unnecessarily? I did everything else just right, landed tons of ults on teams and e's and q's and just protected everyone greatly and got them many kills. But since I died at the end, why would I get the best grade? Technically I could've not died so that would be the S.

Like others said, you probably died too many times.

Taking a look, you had 199 CS and placed 11 wards (10 Yellow, 1 Pink) in a 48 minutes game.

Considering you held onto the Yellow Trinket for the entire game, both of those values are rather low.

The system measures more than just KDA. Heck, this Udyr game was 26 minutes and I got an S+ with:

  • K/D/A: 4/1/4
  • CS: 260
  • Wards Placed: 11
  • Wards Destroyed: 3

I can explain to you why you didn't get an S in that Ekko quadra kill game. For reference, here is where I'm getting this information: http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=kimlop

So, first, your CS was super super low for a 48 minute game. Second, you only placed 11 wards the entire game. Again, super super low for a 48 minute game. Next, you had a lot of assists and more deaths than necessary. I know that sounds dumb, but hey, the system is picky with that stuff. Lastly, your kill participation was pretty low. With longer games, your kill participation should get higher and higher since you're probably mostly teamfighting. Aim for around 7cs/min (you had 4.1/min this game), 70%+ kill participation, and at least a ward placed every two minutes. And this isn't just to pad the stats. The higher CS is going to get you more gold, which will get you a bigger lead and make it easier to carry the game. The wards are going to give you vision, which you can use to get more CS to gain that lead that I just talked about. Everything is connected!

Good KDA is not the most important grading attribute, you need to place/destroy wards, help take objectives and have high CS 200+

A game where I finished with 15/0/9 175cs as Ahri only gave me a flat S.

You need to CS better and die less. CS counts considerably more than you think it should.

Some paper clips and a Subway's coupon for starters.

Take Ekko to another lane and play him in a role he's barely played in. Then you'll get an S.

Don't die and have high CS. You can get an S going 0-0-0 if you CS well.
