@Riot, I feel you are using the term "Rework" as a lazy alternative to balance.

As the title suggest, every other day we hear Riot say the word "Rework" when it comes to old champs. The use the term as their way out for not properly balancing or tweaking champions as it takes "to much time" and "prioritize other champs".

Well, STOP USING REWORK as an excuse. I read over that Q&A and the Gangplank made me realize just how much they say and use this excuse.

We don't need full reworks, or minor reworks 2-3 years from now.

I'd prefer to see words like,

Tweaking Balancing Adjusting Near future

These are words we need to see. Gangplank doesnt need a rework, you can help him now...

Lower his mana cost or bump up his mana regen. Derp. No rework needed.

Same goes for so many champions they DONT NEED REWORKS.

They did give Gangplank minor adjustments to help while he waits on a rework, and they do do that all the time to others. But if you want to ignore that so you can feel like your post is valuable, have at it.

Some champions aren't a numbers problem. Their kits are sometimes so binary or so overbearing that it doesn't matter how much they nerf and buff them.

Poppy's ult and passive are way too fucking good so they have to rework her whole kit to keep the 'frontline yordle' theme while actually making her balanced.

Yorick has an extremely oppressive laning phase which requires no skill other than to throw ghouls at your enemy whenever they're off cooldown. They give him everything he needs, so why shouldn't you faceroll with him?

Warwick has a point and click suppression ult that makes ganking retardedly easy after he hits 6. With his high sustain in this jungle, he's arguably one of the simplest junglers to do well with right now.

Urgot has the same issues as Yorick, so Riot swung the nerf bat at him until he was even more of a patched-up, undead mess. Getting shot at with his E grenade and then getting chunked by multiple Acid Hunters wasn't very fun to fight against. Of course, his ult is confusing with the rest of his kit, so Riot decided that he just needs a rework most likely on the level of Sion.

Right now Poppy's on the table. Apparently each one of these champs will take some time to be finally created in a balanced state, while hopefully keeping their identities. As for Gangplank, all Riot needs to do right now is remove his goddamn cast animations, and he'll be a bit easier to use.
