Xerath deserves a new skin. Change my mind.

Xerath as a champion, while not being the most popular or the most meta, has also been consistently a great champion for those who put the time and effort in to learn his play style. I’ve been arguably spending more time watching YouTube videos of the number one Xerath streamer known as Zwag, than playing my own account. (mainly due to lack of having a running computer but that’s more of a personal problem.) In this time I’ve noticed something, the last time I heard about xerath getting a skin that was worth talking about was just a single month after our favorite floating wind chime, Bard, was released. Now some players haven’t exactly been around long enough to have an idea of how long it’s been, so let’s add a number to this, Bard was released March 12th 2015, and the skin in question followed on April 26th 2015. Since then, we have had several champions, skins, game modes and events roll by (one of which inspired by this said skin, ever heard of ascension?) I think after a long wait, I believe we deserve to see this almighty being take on something new. What exactly this skin may be, I’m sure is part of the reason he may not have gotten one. After all we’re talking about xerath, a ball of energy that has taken the shape of a humanoid by pouring out energy from a coffin that once held him, and I’d be stuck for ideas too if all I had to use as inspiration was a few goku/vegeta memes and a handful of chromas. But I think we can do it, especially after seeing all of the recent out of the box thinking with our recent skins. Maybe just have xerath look like his human self if he theoretically could’ve “handled” his ascension and held a physical body what might this look like? An overwhelmingly powerful looking ryze, a human with aura pouring and seeping from his body, who knows? (The best part about these thoughts is that they don’t exactly require particle changes, but could definitely have them regardless) Now leaving artists block out of our general discussion below, let’s address something, do we as players and viewers of this game believe that Xerath deserves to shine in the light once more? I mean I know the last time he did that he wiped shurima off the face of the earth and drove our least favorite crocodile to the brink of madness, but like... pretty please? With the promises of unlimited power and a cherry on top???? (I’ll throw in a cookie, but don’t tell tell riot or else they’ll phreak)
