Cass W

Why does the w cast if you are aiming inside the min cast range? If I'm aiming for somewhere the w can not go, i would prefer it not cast at all, the same as if I was aiming an aoe beyond the range. If you accidentally aim too short then you waste the skill entirely, but if you aim too far then your character moves close enough to cast, rather than simply wasting the ability. Idk I really like the effect, but the min cast range I feel could be made less frustrating.

If she did nothing at all when you press the button it would feel extremely bad, especially if you want a min range cast in the heat of battle but your mouse is just slightly too close. Backing up to the minimum range would also feel extremely weird and it probably isn't really supported by the tech right now.

I think it's fine to expect players to just learn the range. Cassiopeia expects her players to learn a fair bit about her before they can succeed with her anyways, learning the range on an ability is just a drop in the bucket compared to poison durations and E spam.
