Week 2 Schedules
What exactly is the logic behind the schedules for week 2 groups? Clearly the first seed never has to play consecutive games (so obviously this is thought to be some sort of advantage to them) but there is always one other team that never has to play consecutive games either and that seems to just be doled out at random regardless of placing.
-In group B it was Immortals and they were in second so it made sense.
-In group C it was 1-2 G2 for whatever reason, 2-1 Samsung had to play consecutive games.
-In group D there is no clear number one, so Misfits gets the breaks, but for whatever reason 0-3 Flash Wolves is also getting breaks.
-Group A is the same situation as group C, clear number one SKT gets breaks between games, meanwhile 1-2 gets the same breaks instead of 2-1 Cloud 9.
I don't think it's that important, there isn't really a corellation between breaks and performance so far, but what's weird about it is that obviously Riot thinks it's important enough to give this out as a reward to the number one teams, but then just hands out the same reward at random, sometimes to the objectively worst performers like flash wolves. If anyone has any insight on how this works I would appreciate it.
