Can people please stop playing mid laners as supports. It's not fun for anyone except for the support. Like for instance, these champions 
. I see these being used as a support so often, and yet they aren't supports. They might have one ability that provides cc, but that's it. Sincerely, a support main who's fed up with AP supports.
and are "support" as secondary roles. And Karma has mostly been used as support for a long time. BTW, she has 2 ccs and a shield (all of which can be buffed by her ult)...sounds like a supp to me. And Lux also has 2 ccs and a shield. She isn't used as supp much atm, but months ago, she was mainly used as such. Things change. Even champs that were introduced as one thing are now mainly another. Kindred (adc), Graves (adc), Ivern (supp), are all jgs as an example.
Karma doesn't belong on this list. She shields, roots, and slows. She also doesn't need to take kills or CS to remain relevant as a support as the game goes on.
You think it's hard to support as a mage? Guess you've never tried vladimir or illaoi support.
i can see why you can see them as non supports but ulted e and q and w tend to be the reason for them being support
I think the real issue is that no matter how strong redemption/solaris are, you always end up with a brand staying behind his adc because he's building damage.
Most of the champs you mentioned have two or more abilities with CC... and why is Karma even on that list?
the concept of "death is the best cc" is a valid one. the fact that you are fed up (i'm assuming going against them) perhaps means you are having trouble dealing with them? if not, just enjoy the wins. else, just hop on the bandwagon.
