So is the selection changes for UP TO TWO positions or strictly two positions?

Look, I know playing only one lane is considered weird by most. But i dont want to play anything else other than support. Its what I enjoy doing. So with everything that I'm seeing online, it seems that team builder is biting the dust and the new champ select has players selecting two roles they want to play. But again, I only want to play one role. I know this puts me in a very niche demographic but can I get some clarification on this? Can I only choose one role if we only want to play as one role?

As far as I know,you have to take 2 positions. You can pick the option ''fill'' but it won't change the fact,that you maybe have to go jungle for example. You can't just say ''I want to play support and nothing else'',which is bothering me a lot.

As vivi said you must pick two rolls to enter this new queue system but it will try it hardest to make sure you get your frist roll selected more often than not
