[GamePlay] Singed fling showing animation and going on cooldown with no throw

This happened to me multiple times in my game today. I would attempt to throw and it would show the animation and 2 out of 3 times it would even go on cd with no effect to the enemy champion.

Cannot confirm that it went on cd server side or if it just did the cd on my ui.
