PSA: Don't surrender in ranked

While in normal I completely understand surrendering I don't get why the heck you'd ever surrender a ranked game. I don't care how bleak it seems, there's at least some sort of a chance of a comeback, and by surrendering your guaranteeing your loss instead of having whatever slim chance of victory you had before you surrendered. This is especially true in low ranks as people are more prone to make mistakes giving you more opportunities for a comeback. So please, for the sake of everyone, don't surrender in ranked.

I´ll take the surrender instead. The easy way out gets me into better games faster.

PSA: some games can't be won, and losing lp to get out of a game 10 to 20 minutes faster adds up, do that once or twice and you've already added an extra winnable game or two. FF'ing is actually smart and efficient if climbing is the overall goal.

The problem is with people ffing games that are far from being decided.

There are games that can be won. Then there are game where the enemy team gets all three first towers, has twenty kills to your ten, and has taken every Drake along with Herald. All by the time Baron spawns.

I refuse to keep playing a game with a team that doesn't know how to play from behind.

You'll average maybe half a division higher by playing out every 10-30 stompfest where your team is AFK farming the jungle so they can get out of the lost game that you won't let them leave. Is that really worth it?

It's all the same in Broze rank. No differences in Draft and rank for bronzers forever. Kled
