Legendary Versus Event - Doesnt even last 24h before reset?

so yesterday i had until ~8pm to complete it, now i log in after work to see that i got until 10am to complete it. Why do i only have 14h ?

I mean at the Start last week it refreshed around 10pm - 1am and now mostly 8pm, but why do they rush it so much? At this hour it takes me about 15-20min to find a ARAM(est. 1:04min) and about 10min to find a normal Match which feels kinda fucked up if i only have 1:35h to complete 2 quests
