"Late Game Champs"

So you know those champs whos strength is based on out scaling in the late game like ![MasterYi](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.20.1/img/champion/MasterYi.png) ![Jax](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.20.1/img/champion/Jax.png) ![Nasus](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.20.1/img/champion/Nasus.png) are essentially unstoppable late game. Well then WHY THE FUCK do they have a decent enough early game that they are able to win or at least tie over half the match ups. ![Jax](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.20.1/img/champion/Jax.png) isnt that much of a problem but lets say ![Nasus](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.20.1/img/champion/Nasus.png) has the resources to survive a non lane bully pre 6 and can 1v1 almost anyone once he hits lvl 6. ![MasterYi](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.20.1/img/champion/MasterYi.png) is better than most jglers in terms of farming, objectives early 1v1s, definitely late game 1v1s. Sure, his ganks are weak but isnt he a bit to strong for a passive jungler. Even![Yasuo](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.20.1/img/champion/Yasuo.png) can just get away with spamming Qs in lane and not loose the lane in order to become a teamfighting god when paired with Aoe knouckup. Recently, even ![Vayne](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.20.1/img/champion/Vayne.png) s early game isnt that weak and she does outrange adcs like xayah and kai sa. ![Veigar](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.20.1/img/champion/Veigar.png) due to the fat stun can barely loose lane anymore (unless its some rly strong assasin or counterpick) and has enough damage to win some 1v1s and procedes to ` tap r the adc late game. Jax is probably the weakest of the lot but his e is definitely not a weak early ability ( although this is easier to counter). What im saying is I dont mind champs which are weak early and good late as long as they are actually weak early.

Master Yi is NOT good in early 1v1s. I've only ever seen a Yi win early 1v1s when its more of an "opportunity kill" where the enemy was already at a disadvantage against the Yi in terms of health, cool downs, mana, etc.

Nasus's lifesteal is a very purposeful way to help him survive early game, because otherwise he'd be almost useless early game and he's not very... unstoppable late game. He is going to hurt like hell to stand beside, but there are a million ways in League to deal with an immobile melee character that relies entirely on basic attacks to deal real damage.

The rest have some truth. Jax is a very strong duelist at almost every section of the game. Yasuo and Veigar have very good zoning tools that make them difficult to poke out of lane (Yasuo) or engage onto (Veigar). Vayne's early game is largely negated not really by her damage, but by her very strong amount of self-peel through her Tumble and knockback.

In truth, Nasus can be easily taken down late with ldr, 3cc abilities and a full item adc within 5 seconds but as a champion design, he is meant as a late game scaler while outdueling most at lvl 6 and theoretically not being as good late. I have seen plenty of occasions where MasterYi dodges an important ability like lee q and procedes to win the auto off. Like if its not a XinZhao or something, MasterYi probably wont loose the lvl3 all in.

Jax has the best early game out of the champs you mentioned. His base damage is stupid high, and he spikes with both Phage and Sheen. Yi doesn't become that dangerous until he reaches around 3 items and Nasus is gated by his stacking mechanic.

The only reason Vayne is decent early is because of botrk and Guinsoo's, which allows her to bypass typical adc itemization weaknesses by rushing attack speed/on-hit. Removing the attack speed from botrk and Guinsoo's period would nerf her significantly, but Riot is hesitant to hard nerf Vayne for reasons.
