Leblanc Ult Clone

A friend of mine just told me that Leblanc's Ult Clone does damage? He also said that its global; as in you can cast it anywhere on the map. Both of us are currently at Job Corps and wont be able to play until the 14th-15th when we leave on Christmas break.

As we cant test it in game and have limited internet access, cant go on Youtube to look or reddit or a lot of other sites (tbh im surprised this isn't blocked), I was wondering if anyone could give some insight into the matter.

Edit: He also said that he is unsure on the damage part but that it at least will give you an assist if it lands an ability?

her Ult is now split into 2 parts:

if you mimic one of her basic abilities, it creates a clone next to you that casts the same spell which indeed deals Damage.

but you can also mimic her Ult to create a clone anywhere on the map that attacks the nearest enemy with an ability and disappears after, but this version won't do any Damage.

So your global Clone won't do Damage.

I knew about the ability mimic. was unsure about the clone damage so thank you.

however, if it does land an ability on someone and your team gets a kill on the person, do you get an assist?

It's ok OP, just stick that polearm on a merc and you'll never run OOM.
