Normal MMR and Ranked MMR

1 So, is there any interdependence (and if there is, than what exactly) between Normal's MMR and Ranked? Is it possible to have mediocre Normal MMR, but relatively high Ranked one? 2. I know that there are separate MMRs between Normals/Solo-Duo/5v5 modes, but are there separate MMRs between Normal Draft v Blinds? 3. Do(es) your MMR(s) get reseted at the start of the new season, or are they accumulative? Only 100% correct answers, not guesses and assumptions. Thnx.

We're not Riot, we can't give you anything but guesses and assumptions.

Each queue has it's own MMR and its totally independent from others with the following exception

  • The first ranked games you play on a fresh account you are matched based on your Normal MMR(not sure about season 9 and positional crap but was true until season 8 placements)

  • Ranked MMR gets a soft reset at the start of each season, meaning your past MMR is not completely wiped but it is brought closer to the average

  • Normal MMR doesn't reset

  • A lot of people level up their alt accounts (or smurfs if you like the term more) by playing ARAMs so they never set foot in normals and go straight to ranked at level 30, resulting in their normal MMR being waaaaaay lower than their ranked (this is the reason tons of diamonds and masters accounts have crap normal MMR) Also, accounts that were given to pro players (back in season 2 or 3 last time I heard about this) to create content with everything unlocked had the MMR of a starting account at level 0
