Another Lux buff maybe Riot?

I will be honest with this post - and what I'm going to talk about is what I expect as a Lux main and how I've seen her play transformed over the last few changes. Right now I feel like Lux is in a very tricky position as a mid mage. Her mobility is VERY slow, perhaps too slow - it hasn't felt 'right' since the patch that changed it which sucks, because being able to slip out of dangerous situations is kind of her 'thing' as a mage, ie: the snare and the slow. - I've found that in terms of mobility, even if I snare and slow many times this does not equate to an ability to 'get away' as I think these spells were originally intended. Keep in mind, these are just my opinions and observations - take them with a grain of salt. - After a Q, and a E for the full duration, often just because of champion mobility, regardless of the shield, she often is still so vulnerable she dies pretty easy. For a champion with such high cooldowns, this makes 'running away' much more difficult - because early she is extremely vulnerable on account of those cooldowns especially against champions with escapes/gap-closers which appears to be riot's new trend as far as skill creation. Compared to champions in the next lower movement speed tier she is still weak, as anivia has a wall and ziggs has the W which stuns/gapcloses/escapes. Where such an ability might be, Lux instead has a shield (is Lux a support?) - which again, used to be acceptable when her movement speed coupled with proper spell usage meant she could get out freely 50% of the time. In some matches, she is rendered completely useless - especially in the face of champions that can block abilities (Yasuo, yes u). After all this, she remains a character that I would like to play - but don't see myself playing in the future unless changes are made. That sucks! She was a favorite! The buff that was given to illumination doesn't make up for what she seems to lack in the early game in terms of mobility. And range on her laser appears to have been ninja nerfed somehow - it hasn't felt quite 'the same' for a while, not as rewarding - less utility because I feel that the range took a hit somewhere, perhaps unnoticed - which was the reward for a totally skillshot based champ.

What I would change? I would increase the range on her laser slightly - she is a tactical champion, lets let her be tactical. Compared to champions with global ultimates, her laser is a joke right now, especially late game.
I would increase her movement speed - again, she is a tactical champion, lets let her be tactical. All in all, it would be nice to see improvement to this champions in the area where the nerf bat hit her so hard, instead of compensating for those hard changes by trying to better feature other ones (Illumination though? A nerf/buff? Y?! I'm not going to be able to take advantage of that buff if I'm unable to get safely away).

Her lazer also has a lower CD than most global ults with max CDR. And she has one of the safest poke in the game.

I would give you yes on the laser range, no on the speed. That's just me.

She legitimately has the most consistent poke of any mage. She has a passive that increases her damage and is easily the best mage to take advantage of Mejai's.item 3041

The lazer has almost NO indicator of actual range or width for the enemy team and an incredibly short wind-up.

Which global ultimates are you comparing her ult to?

She is balanced There is only one thing I'd add, clicking E mid-flight will cause to detonate it immediately upon arrival

Her 30 second CD laser doesn't need a buff.

She is pretty balanced, being immobile is a weakness, i dont understand why you need anything else.
