Stale Laning Phases
Aside from
, who makes laning REALLY tiresome and boring, I found that
and
are pretty big offenders of Lane sustaining.
Cho has flat sustain, and that's fine. But when you're wasting cooldowns and Mana to try to poke him down, all the while he gains health back as well as mana with auto attacks, it makes for a frustrating time to try even compete. Aside from his low mobility and pretty short range, I can see why his sustain is sort of justified, but when he just sits in lane to auto attack minions and just doesn't have to recall (Or worse, takes
) and does enough damage to force a recall out of you, then laning just seems like pointless. If you try to roam from that lane, then the great amount of wave clear he has does you in too.
Along side with Cho, its annoying to lane against Nasus too. Constantly trying to poke him out of lane is annoying when he can lifesteal really well. Sure I can play
and try to get him out of lane that way, but when he rushes a
or worse can get a
quickly , It sort of takes it out of you when he can throw wither at you and not have to worry about a thing after.
Characters like
and
have to use a larger amount of their key resources to get health back, and even then, its not such a big amount in too quick of a time. Morg's Spellvamp passive, of course, cant compare to Nasus' Lifesteal Passive, since Spellvamp is notoriously weaker.
I don't know if their lane sustain should be toned down, and if it could be, what would even be compensated for it? What would even be compensated for a sustaining passive, that wouldn't break the characters, making them too strong, or too weak?
Tl;dr - Nasus and Cho' Gath make for stale/frustating laning phases almost like Vladimir.
