So, we have been told that the big four will be Katarina, Talon, LeBlanc and Rengar but all we know about the smaller changes (to my knowledge) is that they are thinking about Fizz and Kha'Zix (if I remember correctly) among other champions. So, Riot, how many are you guys thinking about doing minor changes to? I'm very interested in seeing if any of my champs will be a part of it.
Hopefully quite a few i would hope and not just to 'main type' assassins, but also to sub-types like Ahri. Some others i would like to see to be touched up definitely includes Akali because she fits the bill on being a 'insanely hard to not get instant blown up by' type of champion soon as she hits 6, while also being on a energy system, which in the same token as LeBlanc, is basically 'they jump on you and you die before you have a chance to even blink'.
In Ahri's case i feel even though she's a 'main type mage' she doesnt seem to feel that much like one(especially when compared to champions like Morganna, Lux, Malzahar, Vladimir, heck even Annie) and even with a kit that makes her 'feel' like an Assassin, it also doesn't feel that major. At the very least, like how Fizz is getting his W and passive reworked, i feel like Ahri's own passive needs to get something a little stronger to make her fit better on her Mage/Assassin style that she can kill you quick, but like how Le'Blanc's new direction is going to be 'mind games', it would be nice if Ahri was also given a slight 'mind games' style that maybe makes enemies in a bad situation if they get to close to her or 'force' them into a situation where if they try to 'run or keep distance' they could get a punished' sort of gimmick (aka Ahri's sort of life stealing temptress lore style).
A few others i would like to see touched up on is Twitch so where maybe they could push back his 'scummy assassin style' to make him more fit as a 'Marksman' who will whittle you down with toxins. Shaco being a 'pure assassin' getting refined to have some more counter play against him so he's not the screw with you like a plain arse hole champion by having fear traps, bonus back stab damage plus can throw the daggers at you, stealth plus teleport and even a ultimate that lets him rip off Le'blanc's passive except his clone explodes to give a even further middle finger towards you.
Ekko ESPECIALLY should get some touch up 'retuning' to make him actually fit as a 'fighter' champion or they should make him actually adopt his 'main role Assassin' properly, especially after being part of 3 top tier culprits of 'Assassins playing like tanks' with him, Fizz and Yasuo (Yasuo might as well be Assassin/Fighter then Fighter/Assassin because of his retarded mobility). Very least his kit needs to require him to either show proper committment to bring out the damage he dishes out (reduce the silly shield and stun field size for one example) and make his ultimate actually be more of a proper re'do button(such as balancing the damage nuke it does and the free 'health recovery' Ekko gets from it) and less of a gag to also double as a way for him to damage nuke an enemy or enemy 'group' that jumped on him. Plus especially tuning down all his passive 'extra' gimmicks' so he sticks to one route, not have everything typical assassins have (poke, gap closers and % hp kill) and even more (slow spams, damage burst bonuses, partial damage 'reversion' mixed with a damage bomb too), would be a little more nice if his gimmicks lost most of the damage they dished out and he fitted more as a disruptive 'fighter' instead.
I could name a few others, Kassadin and Vayne especially, maybe even Tristana for one example because she definitely doesn't seem that very 'assassin'ie' on ends. But the point is they have so many champions that could be hit up as Main/Sub assassins or champions that basically play like 'Assassins' but were not even 'registered' as such, it makes me hope some would get touched for either making their Assassin parts stand out better or the ones that stand out too much to get pulled back some or just plain 'fit' what it means for them to have that nametag tacked onto them.
Welp cheers to hoping we see more information soon.
