Possible solution to stop trolls/salty players from stealing Jungle farm.

I see people (mostly junglers) commenting on how laners fail their lane and come into the jungle to catch up on XP and gold. This puts the jungler seriously behind early game. It's usually not as big a deal if it's late game and the Jungler is helping push lanes and ganking more than farming.

So what's a possible solution to help junglers keep doing their job, without "teammates" making it harder on them?

Increase the health and damage of the monsters... BUT... also increase the effect of smite and the machete so that only the Junglers can farm them early game.

This should keep junglers about where they are now. Able to farm, but keeping it a challenge. Maybe if the buff to smite and machete is good enough, more champions could jungle. Then finally, it'd encourage lanes to stay in their lanes and do their jobs.

Thoughts?

They did that, didn't work.

They buffed the hp and damage of all monsters in preseason and also reduced the gold gain without a machete significantly.

Your sorta wrong. They buffed the creeps yes but they did not give an = buff to machete.

What I think the OP is hinting at is like the creeps do an extra 50 damage per hit unless you have a machete. To really punish the people in the early game.

Though OP idea does not really work either way. Limits who can do what strats in 5s.

I never said anything about damage reduction with machete, I said they reduced gold gain from camps without machete.

Nah fuck junglers, if you mid eg leaves and goes to kill a camp or two, just go to mid and farm his lane.

Solo lane has more exp and gold to offer than jungle anyways

Problem is that it ruins the idea of the enemy team crossing over and taking camps away from you.

If a laner steals my camp, they get no ganks and I'll randomly show up just to take farm.
