Playing Support when top/mid feed

What are people's suggestions on how to hold off a team and possibly win as support when you have a troll jungler and your mid and top lanes fed?

I shall give an example:

Had a Rumble top against Trynd, the Rumble just fed like crazy and even said he wasn't even trying to win.

Zed goes to help but ends up giving Trynd first blood and even more kills.

Rumble's excuse for not even trying was because our jungler went Soraka..

I happened to be Illaoi support with Cait adc against Blitz support and Kayle adc.

The opponents mid laner was Veigar and he was allowed to farm mid safely.

Their jungler was Elise and she got to roam and gank undetected because no one else but me was warding.

Me and Rumble ended up switching lanes but by the time we did, Trynd was already about 4 lvls higher than me and the top tower was about half way gone. My team eventually surrendered at 20.

You ff@20 and go to the next game. It's faster, and less stressful that way. Since I don't like ulcers....

Yea, it was a bad game.... Sad that me and Cait both had 3 kills a piece with the others only having 1 or 2. But i was told i fed (grant it my deaths were high from trying to fix Rumble's mess)

A good chunk of my ranked games this season were played as support and a lot of my wins started off with my team behind. You have to focus on warding and clearing wards and trying to make picks where you can while warning your allies where the enemy is. I play a lot of Morgana support and have success getting a snare when maybe 1 or two enemies are together and since my team is so far behind we are grouped and swarm them and get a kill or two. You do this a couple of times and your team starts slowly catching up.

Really in the end it is more about warding and not getting caught. If you can outward the enemy you can pick them off before they pick you off and maybe get that baron or dragon steal that completely changes the outcome of the game.

But with a fed Trynd fighting you, a Rumble that was feeding and not even trying, a Zed that just bad mouthed Rumble and fed Trynd as well, a Soraka jungler, champs being allowed to tp bot to keep me and Cait back with 0 help from anyone else, a Veigar allowed to farm freely, and an Elise that got fed from camps and being able to gank whoever she wanted except bot?

Didn't say it would be easy or you will win every game. Just want to point out that even when behind supports are important and can make a large difference in a game. It seems like in low elo there is a common stereotype that supports cant carry. The truth is supports can carry its just in a different way and generally much harder to see. It is also hardly recognized. When you snowball your lane your adc gets all the credit. When you sacrifice yourself for your team to get that ult on the enemy or w/e and your team wins the fight the support will hardly ever be acknowledged. Just because your team or the game doesn't say "OMG THIS SUPPORT WRECKING!" doesn't mean your useless.

Oh i know that supports get 0 recognition for their plays (except by the rare adcs that compliment them).

And I guess the champ i was playing could've helped turn it around.

This sounds like very low elo tbh (Bronze 3 or below). What you basically do is: Obliterate the enemy botlane and push 24/7. At one point your Cait and you will be enough to 2v5 the enemy Team.

it was Norms...

Bad thing was Veigar was able to almost 1 shot me when he tped to bot to stop me and cait from taking tower with Zed just staying mid and not even attempting to help or ping. (our mid and top were terrible with pinging)
