Any tips for ranked next season ?
I spent most of this year getting help, improving my game, and practicing CS but next season I want to get more into a ranked/competitive so are there any tips for a first ranked match?

Take a 5-minute break after any frustrating match. Get up and walk around, get a snack or a glass of water. This will help you to let go of tilt and avoid making mistakes due to stress in the next game.
Find your favorite champ type like bruisers or adc or tanks. Then find the role or roles u like. Spam in norms with 1 to 3 champs that meet the previous rules. For example i do Swain, jax and maokai for Ad, Ap and tank for every team comp. Jax and mao can jungle where i flex amumu or elise to cover ap so if they go yas mid we get some ap for balanced comp. But at first just focus on 1 champ then a backup if banned. Thus allows you to focus on hame 13356% more than a champ pool of 20 champs(why most people stay bronze). They focus on micro the whole time instead of macro and that is the result, go nowhere. So play a fun champ that you can play braindead so you learn matchups, power spikes, and objective priority. For example i can splitpush with jax with sheen and phage to 2 v 1 most ganks and get 2nd tower at 20 ish mins with triforce on a slower game. 15 if really fed. But i group after first tower only, because even if they stomp me, if they tp bot i get 3 waves and they just threw lead to allow me to take more towers, then i can group and be very relevant even if an item behind im not useless and i got a tower and gold for team, and pressure on map. Instead of just getting a useless kill and air drag them jerking off mid for 5 mins. When insteaf those 3 waves and tower give you 1000+ gold and 1.5 lvls. This took me so long to learn but get a lead then group, dont just get nothing. Watch high elo streams, ask for EVERYTHING they do why they did it, pause video when confused until u get why, then you will stomp low elo.
Understand it's called a grind for a reason and the deck is skewed to keep our win rate at or near 50%.
I'm an average player and it took me about 359 games to climb from B5 to S4 this season, winning at a 52% win rate. Between both Q's I played 565 games this season.
565 games divided by the 283rd day of this year is 1.9 ranked games per day. I work full-time, am married to an understanding wife and no children.
This is the scope of what I'm up against, if I can get my avg gpd to 3, I feel confident I could make gold next season, so long as I can maintain my win rate. Point is if I want to climb in less games then I have to significantly improve my win rate.
The further away your win rate is from 50% will give you an idea on how fast you will climb or fall.
Let's say the average game is 30 minutes and you are occupied by a combo of work and school or just work.
If you play 3 hours a day you could theoretically play 6 ranked games a day.
If you play every day that's about 2,190 ranked games.
I think this is the best indicator of how far you can climb in a season if you can maintain above a 50% win rate. Is how many randed games you can play while maintaining 50% win rate or above.along the way you will improve things like CS/min and when to engage and when not to, when to roam, how when to freeze or push the minion wave.
Keep you champ pool small and play champs you like. When you play norms play other lanes, which will help you understand the flowers of the game.
Watch streamers who play your lane and if possible the champ you play.
Above all? Don't let other players get you down. Keep in mind you can communicate w/pings and use the mute option liberally. Mute the other team, no need to here from them.
Good luck!
P.S. just an observation based on my experience only.
Stay positive no matter what.
Kill the entire team on your own without any help from your team, every time.
Realize a lot of your losses are out of your control
Actually play ranked.
