Alistar Ult Synergy

Alistar has been my favorite tank for a while, but I feel he suffers from an issue similar to old Sion, where his kit lacked cohesion. Mechanically speaking, its pretty sound, but what does an AD steroid do for him when none of his abilities scale with it? Even with this in mind, many people like me build Alistar with AD/tank hybrid items over the AP/tank ones that he should technically benefit more from.

My solution is to replace the AD steroid, with an additional health scaling added to his abilities while ulted. The numbers would vary from ability to ability, but gaining a small portion of his max health in extra damage tagged onto his abilities would help focus his kit towards his spells, rather than auto attacks which nothing of his augments. The additional healing would really help him stay alive against champs who simply don't give a shit that he ulted like Vayne by adding in a form of mitigation she doesn't completely bypass, making him truly tanky like the ability was meant to make him. This change would result in Ali's actually building items around his abilities rather than bitch slapping the opponents after his long CD spells to proc Sheen/Trin.
