Missing the point

I'm not surprised at all by the disappointment 5.18's veigar buffs brought me, but how little does Riot play Veigar? Every buff coming his way always skips around the glaring hole 5.4 left in him, as if Riot was proud of how badly they fucked him up. Cool, he no longer has to get the kill to scale, but AP was never his issue, as for reducing W's delay, they had to leave its predictability in tact so that it looked like they were actually buffing him. The truth is that the changes will not affect how little he can do against competent opponents, they're there to buff the chaos reliant team fight Veigar which isn't at all the issue.
