Nerf Brand

He doesnt need a nerf, once he uses his abilities then hes a sitting duck

I understand both sides of this camp here. Brand Is my 3rd most played champ with about 150k mastery points and my highest win rate over an extended amount of games champion last season in ranked. just to give me some credibility. Here is my take on this matter. Back before brand got reworked he was a less polarizing champ with a higher percent health burn and no passive explosion. He also had higher damages on his w and i believe a higher scaling on some of his abilities. He also had a q stun which lasted .5 seconds longer than the current one and was more of a tank shredder than a major teamkiller. The champion itself had his place and his strengths and weaknesses. Some of which still persist like the immobility and skill shot reliance. Now here is the reason they changed him. As you went up the elo ladder of players and people who played brand the winrates go down. Just look at pro play where old brand wasn't relevant since season 2. I mean that kinda calls for a change even if he can still succeed at the lower ranks. I will say this also when the reworked him they wanted to keep most of the elements the same but they wanted to make the rewards for teamfighting greater than they were. So they added the passive explosion for people who got hit with 3 of his abilities. Which raised the damage reward for people who he hit skill shots upon. Basically making his skill cap higher and making the reward they provide greater than it once was. As for the question at hand does his passive need to be nerfed? Yes, but other things need to be nerfed first such as yasuo e and leblanc chain.

So until those two things happen no he shouldn't be nerfed though
