Skins would be too common as many people would just spam buy them with IP.
This would in a sense basically making Botting much more common. We already have them as a problem now, and making it worse by basically giving away skins for IP would just make them much more worse! we had IP Chromos and thats probably the best we are going to get at the moment!

Plus, SMITE's skins that are buyable for FAVOR as it is to them, are re-colored skins. We have those now, called Chromas which go on an IP sale Twice a Year.
Overwatch is not F2P.
For Honor is not F2P.
Smite gives daily rewards, yes, but League gives hextech chests and keys.
You can get like five skins with Favor in smite, you could (dunno if the option is still there) get Chromas in League with IP (honestly about the same amount of work put in).
League gives you just as much, fam.
