Most effective Jungle route for Elise?

I have seen that some junglers start at bot lane then they clear grunts>red buff and goes stright to blue buff instead of going to raptors so why are they doing it in first place? and what is most effective route for elise?

I don't like taking Raptors on Elise early unless I have nothing better to be doing. You go Krugs > Red > Blue because it gets you level 3 and a blue buff while still keeping the red buff and that's your ideal early gank scenario. You finish blue and get to choose between ganking top or mid or going straight to scuttle for the insane sustain (Krugs > Red > Blue > Scuttle = full health Elise).

Taking Raptors in first clear is only for junglers who don't want to gank early but Elise has no reason to be hiding in the jungle.

this is a bad question for your jungler route should change every game as you read the situation.

It's situational...

The thing about elise is her early game pressure is the best thing about her, if you haven't ganked a lane withen the first 4 minutes then you're either too slow or your team is overextending lanes.

To achieve this I usually do Gromp/Krugs then double buffs, then rift scuttler, then gank top lane to get my top laner (or me) fed. If I can I'll rush immidiantly to mid lane, gank, and then I'll finish clearing all the camps I missed, or just finish clearing.

If I start on red side, (their red is near top lane) I'll try and invade their red to kill their jungler after I ganked top/taken rift scuttler. (It's easier to invade top side red since the bushes provide better angling and stealth, if it's blue side you can easily be counter invaded by their mid/top)

The situational part is if you know top lane is fine without you and it's bot lane you need to focus at... in that case you want to do a full bot jungle clear (gromp+blue+wolves OR krugs+red+raptors) and then gank either bot or mid at level 3.

As you play elise and learn to be more aggressive (this will take awhile since practicing her executes take time) you'll develop you're own path with the situation.

(Also I start with these: you can use regular pots for practice substain but elise is so strong as camp clearing you can sometimes get away with not using pots at all. I wouldn't waste gold on the refillable upgrade at all tho) item 1039 item 2031

You'll do fine with her, just take your time and don't worry about mistakes while getting used to her combos. I can't really list combos since those are situational as well (you're either ganking in spider or human form, depends on the chase ability) but you'll get used to it. [slayer-jinx-catface]

I typically clear botside Jungle then gank. It takes the least amount of time and drops you at level 3 full HP.

Truthfully, on the current set of patches you should always be doing one camp and both buff camps and then immediately ganking lanes by 3:30. This has actually always been the most effective method of jungling. Its more important to get your laners a lead in the first 8 minutes of the game than it is for you to farm another camp. But particularly so on patches this snowbally. The only exception is invader junglers like a shaco or a lee sin in which case its acceptable to do only a single camp and then invade the enemy jungler at their second camp.
