The "Gangplank Problem"
Gangplank is still as oppressive and unkillable as ever.
If you are not playing Darius or Riven and they pick Gangplank well, time to get bullied for 30 minutes by a hyperscaling late game champ.
How is a champion that's basically Pantheon on steroids allowed to scale into late game? At least with Pantheon you know if you get on top of him - he's done, if you get on top of the pirate, well, he pops his barrel then runs away shooting more Q's at your face for more free gold.
What a nice design. Did I even mention you have to CONSTANTLY PLAY AROUND HIS BARRELS, and I mean constantly, those things don't have a cooldown it's like URF mode when you fight him ? Good luck dealing with those if you are not ranged. But if you are melee and somehow manage to pop them , well, GP gets ZERO punishment for it. Instead, he just puts up another one like nothing happened, and another one and so on.
Gangplank is THE EPITOME of unfun, and I've been saying this since his rework.
Extremely oppressive, extremely unfun, cowardly, and it's so hard to punish him...
HE IS NOT A HARD CHAMP EITHER, he is very easy. Ridiculously easy.
