Teemo- Worth mainng?

Now, I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate, and ignorant responses, but I want everyone's honest opinions!

So i am lvl 21, not to high, but not that low, and I have gotten in the habitat of using tiny satan (teemo) very often now. (lol lvl 4 mastery) That being said, I carry nearly 85% of all my teemo games. I am not an expert with him, but I use him up too a 2v1 scenario< me being the one of course XD. Learned that when the enemy team decided jg wasn't needed, and our g just kept jging. Anyways, iI have many lvl 30 friends, and frequently fight higher lvls, and can stand my ground with teemo.

Now enough of why I use him, but why I want your guy's opinions. Im close to lvl 30, not that close but decently there, and i dont want to focus on a champ who is most likely useless in a ranked situation. I am trying to get use to two jg champs (rengar and master yi) and others, but teemo is my best champ. Now is a great time tho for me to practice other champs and get my mains handled, as ive learned i will get rekt if i am inexperienced with my champ and someone is using their main, especially lvl 30s.

So anythoughts on tiny satan? Should I main him? I am decent with poison and stealth champs ( like twitch and rengar) (hence the love for teemo lol) so who would you recommend? What is your personal favorite champ or main?

Sorry, im still very much a noob and only know like 15 champs so any help is appreciated!

If you wanna be today's hipster of League of Legends, then it's always worth.

Otherwise he's in a really awkward spot if you prefer something more on the "strong" side.

Teemo would be alright to learn the role of a marksman in teamfights and laning. If you learn more about farming, positioning, map awareness, and decision-making on an easy champion you can play it's always worth it. If you main him I suggest trying other marksmen who are more viable for ranked, but it's up to you. Good luck!

Teemo isn't a bad champion. It's just that he doesn't offer anything unique to a team, and that other champions do what he does, but better.

With that being said, the place you're at, it doesn't matter. Personal skill typically trumps over champions strengths/weakness/counters. Once you start getting past silver, into gold+, then champion limitations do take into effect. There's only so far you can climb with Yasou or Riven.

He doesn't have a real escape aside from move speed boost and that is easily countered by all the gap closers and hard cc in the game. He is also pretty squishy...

You can basically main anything you want though and if you get good at teemo you are basically Satan. He can really throw people off the deep end if played well because they don't expect it.

Nah main jung and sup so you can carry low elo. Jax, xin, yi, diana, vi. Morg, annie, brand, lux, sona and tahm. You can carry scrubs and win games with them. A fed teems can maybe backdoor nexus but as far as win a game go for jax or yi. Just my opinion and it's helped my win rate alot.
