Because the MMR rank system is poor. Your best chance is to create a new account... or apparently get 100LP (promos) then dodge two times many times.

Your MMR is low. And for some reason that means if you win, you don't deserve much. But for losing to those "baddies" get wreckt. I was actually trying to explain it, but MMR makes no sense.

MMR makes sense, but not on a ladder system.

They just don't seem all that compatible. Either have ladder ranking or determine ranking solely by MMR, not both. Gives more transparency to the system, which is what these systems are supposed to be.

bc you're at a super low 40% win rate this season so it'll keep tanking you until people get bad enough for you to beat them consistently to get back to ~50%. AKA you're going to tank out of silver into bronze 3-4 very soon

I understand the concept, but I don't know any other ladder that does this.

MMR System Low MMR vs Higher MMR, you lose game. You don't deserve to be here PUNISH lose more MMR. Low MMR vs Higher MMR, you win game. You don't deserve to be here PUNISH gain small MMR.

High MMR vs Low MMR, you win game. You are too good REWARD gains big MMR. High MMR vs Low MMR, you lose game. You are too good REWARD loses little MMR.

WHAT?! If the system deems you as good, even if a "Wood5" beats you, you don't get punished for that off game. But somehow beating a bunch of "baddies" boosts your LP like crazy. I get it may help Challengers get out of the lower tiers quickly on win streaks. But for EVERYONE else it makes no sense. You get punished if a worse player beats a better player WHAT.

Every other ELO system balances your gains/losses with your skill vs enemy skill. MMR just says your skill is good or bad and ignores who you beat. And the only way to fix your MMR is to streak until it stacks against you.

If your MMR is high, you won't be playing against baddies. You'll be playing against higher MMR.

You can still play a division down (you are low MMR). And we all know "oh lower division = trash of earth = not even human." Oh but a win will probably keep you from deranking for awhile.

Any other ladder would have dropped you down to bronze 3 or 4 by now so you'd be matched with the people who play at that level. Its the shitty LoL way to have drop prevention because they somehow like to have a massive gap between ladder ranking and true MMR

The game thinks your current rank is higher than it should be, so it's in the process of dropping you down. You can change this by winning more often
