like even urf is freaking toxic these days like last game on other team had a hec when ever he would kill you as a fed hec in urf would say ez ez ez get fucked like i dont get it is urf suppose to be for fun and dosent matter if you win or lose. also i just got called shit in that same game by teemo when i was 3-10 as ad thresh in urf doing it for fun and he was trash talking me the whole game some people just dont understand playing to have fun then at the end teemo said "thresh dont play urf for fun" same thing next game was vsing a fed rammus and i was yet again thresh rammas was rolling at me so i q on to there sorakka and juked him and i said in all chat juked your puke and then after that when ever he killed me he spammed juked like wtf i dont get it. i thought urf was ment to be the chill memey game mode for fun and now i see people being toxic in it and not having fun with it witch is what its meant for.

The correct answer would be, 3 days after normal urf's release years ago when people formed a meta.

Since the majority of people who play the game for fun were chased away by riot's game design shifts...

This is also why games only last like 10 minutes. They've always had the potential to be that short, but previously people weren't pushing the nexus as fast as they possible could just to get that victory screen. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

It's because of ARURF bud. It's like gambling for your happiness playing it. You either get op champions and have fun or the enemy team gets op champions and has fun. Honestly prefer normal urf over this shit because at least you could choose who you wanted and the cancer champs were banned.

URF is boneified cancer one way or another, accepting that will make it a lot more fun. Nothing says "This is fine" more than Ashe spamming her arrows that hit farther than most skillshots because of the usual downtime in between.

imo people started being more toxic when they weren't allowed to pick their champs anymore. It's hard to be positive when you know that the enemy team has a fizz or kassadin or whoever so you'll probably lose. ^^

I don't mind trash talk but when my own team flames me when I have the AUDACITY not to take flash/tp, that's when I question what's wrong with people. Doing random shit and inventing a new playstyle is exactly what makes urf fun. I almost can't believe there's urf meta slaves. Sorry I made you stress about your urf rank bro.

People take the entire game seriously. This has been fact when people cared just as much in normals as they do in ranked. Even though the entire point of normals was to have fun and not care, even trolling for stress relief was good. Now people are forced to care in normals, aram, everything. Lo and behold toxicity increased tenfold because everyone is stressed out.

It's a terrible cycle. Well-intentioned players get matched against people with rigged champ pools, unfun builds, etc. They get frustrated and end up doing the same because it's not fun to play against that casually. And so it spreads.

Now that it's AR Urf, I've seen messages about how we only won because we got the op champions, and about how the enemy team was playing better but we got luckier. It just makes me feel sad because it really just makes me wonder what would've happened if our champions were flipped... It really ruins the victory if my team had one.

I don't usually let things like this get to me, but I can't help but wonder because this is AR.

Probably cause of ARURF. I barely saw anyone this toxic in URF, but every time ARURF happens, I see mass toxicity.

Also cause the League community gets more and more toxic.

I have yet to play an ARURF match where implied "you're selling your body for cash", "ez", "izi", "suggestion of a lack of skill", "your mom etc.", "reference to female genitalia" and so on and so forth hasn't been spewed out on a regular basis.

I thought URF was meant to be a chill meme-esque game mode for fun, and now I see people being toxic in it and not having fun with it, which is what it's meant for.

The lack of this makes for some proper entertainment in the chat though.

Especially as it's usually in all-chat, and that can be recorded from the replays - and added to my collection (uncensored, ofc.). :) I share that collection sometimes. Makes for huge laughs how funny these flamers can be. ^^

Also, what's the deal on Teleport? I refuse to take Teleport, as I've had more success with Heal/Flash. I don't care if Teleport is being perceived as better - it's still my choice.
